I was watching the game on my computer today and the refs called a false start on Brandon Moore with about 3 minutes in the 3rd quarter. If was 2nd and goal from the 2 and the Jets were pushed back 5 yards and forced to settle with a field goal. I watched it frame by frame and Moore moved when the ball was snapped. There were a couple of posters that were criticizing BiggunDewayne about how the refs stunk this year and someone said they blow about 1-2% of calls a year. If the Jets would have lost at the end it would have been because of the Jets costing us 4 points

I absolutely think that refereeing has been far sloppier this season than prior.

They've been blowing way too many calls this year. I thought the Mike Anderson non-fumble call vs. Tennessee last week was the worst call EVER. Absolutely inexcusable to make a mistake like that on such an obvious fumble...

The refs should be re-evaluated at the end of the year and that roughing the passer rule must be revised.

Yes definitely. I feel that football is not as hard to ref as basketball since they have the gaps in between plays and more refs on the field to concentrate on specific calls and spaces on the field. I refed football games in the past and most of the times when I made bad calls it was because I wasnt paying complete attention. These guys are proffesionals its inexcusable. I wonder if a ref could ever be non biased. Thats a question for anyone to answer. I always felt like refs could never be non biased. How do others feel about this?

I agree. When you are a football ref plays last like 3-4 seconds and you only focus on a certain area. In basketball, your eyes are constantly moving and the referees are constantly rotating
