The saints might go D'brickashaw ferguson. To protect brees.

We should go mario williams you guys know his numbers.

He will be a beast, offense always have the advantage on defense when it comes to the linebacking core and secondary, but when it comes to the DLINE the defense has the advantage.

Just like the offense the defense doesnt know what routes are run, and LB's wont know if its run or pass, but the offensive line wont know what moves the DLINEman will choose, so we should take that advantage and take super mario. Like i said in another thread, he is the DE version of josh henderson, marcus stroud. And comparable to richard seymour with more upside, when it comes to size, the matchups on him will be too easy, look at peppers, and mario can be better than peppers.

We will not regret taking him at 4.
We passed on too many defensive players that are probowlers, and we need not to make the same mistake. Oelhoffen can play NT and DE.

And i doubt mangini will convert to a 3-4, he will use the 3-4 but in certain occasions like maybe using it like 3 or 4 times a game.

Bob sutton is our DC he has been 4-3 guy with herm, and knows the players are better suited for the 4-3.

Vilma also is a beast in the 4-3, and will be a regular good LB in a 3-4, mangini said he plans to use the scheme that plays to his players abilities. And thats the 4-3.

    Sutton is a Parcells/Groh 3-4 guy.

Sutton I believe has been there since Parcells so he has 3-4 experience. Right now Saints are trying to put people in the seats. Thats why they got Brees. My bet is they take Mario Williams at 2. Same spot Pepper went incidently.

I forgot about the parcells thing, he has been in a 4-3 with herm for a hot minute.

And it will work nicely, staying at a 4-3, and using the 3-4 for certain plays and occasions.

Offense, offense, offense, offense, offense please. We need 1st round talent on the offensive side of the ball. Williams is a great talent, but the defense without him is decient enough. The offense needs help and not just at QB. C, G, RT, LT, RB, FB, WR, even TE if Baker doesn't resign. Nevermind depth. The more high round talent we can get for those positions the better it will be.

^ we have 3 QB's already so your telling me to use the 4th pick overall to draft a offensive guy who can be had at 29?

Saints are grabbing ferguson to help protect brees. He is the only one close to being worth the 4th overall.

The saints have too many holes on defense and some on offense to use that high value pick on one player, when they can trade that pick for more picks and fill more holes.

And like i said if they stay they take ferguson.

I really doubt that. They have Jammal Brown on the rightside, and Wayne Gandy whom is still chugging along. As previously stated they will go with an electic player.

That being said, the only quarterback we take is Matt Leinart. There really aren't any players worth taking other than Vernon Davis (way too high for tightend, especially a one dimensional one) and Bush whom won't be there. We seem content at left tackle and have only been pursuing right tackle in the offseason so I doubt we take D'Brick.

There really aren't many offensive players at the top, yet it's loaded with defensive players. Our best bet is to trade down.

Basically we'll go 3-4 against teams like the Chiefs who like to run sweep plays around the tackle...that way fast linebackers can chase them sideline to sideline

And teams that like to run up the middle and downhill like the Bills you base a 4-3 to get all the big boys in there

So depending on the opponents favorite o-packages that how we'll gameplan against them

Never said QB. I have stated many times I don't want one of the QBs this year. Don't be surprised if NO takes Williams and the Jets take Brick, which is what I think will happen.

    Yes sir, exactly my thinking.

Dont be surprised if they mix it up in games as well.

No one has ever tried that i think, mangini would be the first, and teams would emulate us instead of the patriots, and mangini would have set his mark in the NFL.
