The Daily News has to scramble and find stuff since they reported the "Torre is fired" stuff... But this is funny...I liked Torre, and appreciate everything he has done. But now he's just collecting $7 million and looks out of it everytime the camera comes on him... I'm just WAITING for him to pull a Frank Robinson and fall asleep during a game, would it make a difference?
I think he's taking a nap everytime he has his sunglasses on. He never moves an inch for innings at a time.

Well, even coming into the year it was all but assured this would be his last year. The current state of things is only pushing up the date.
Junc, you're the last person in NY who still likes Joe. Either you're a genius, and no one else in the world has a clue, or the more likely scenario, that you're just wrong. Come on, even Mets fans are starting to say Joe is bad. And they aren't even excited about it.
But Mets fans don't act like it was yesterday. Someone who was a freshman in high school the last time the Yankees won the world series is now a senior in college.
ok,but Yankee fans don't seem to care so much about what the mets are doing. But Met fans constantly have some dumb jealous shit to say about the Yankees. So we constantly have to remind them that the success of our beloved franchise dwarfs that of their pathetic franchise. I'm not a big ATlanta fan when they are playing the Mets,but all Met fans love to root for the Red Sox. And yes. Met fans talk like they won something recently.
Obviously that theory is wrong as here we have thread about Joe Torre which has not been intruded on by Mets fans at all... yet the conversation has changed from talking about Joe to talking (or comparing yourselves) to Mets fans. A lot of you guys like to bitch that you can't have a NYY conversation without Mets fans intruding. A lot of you guys like to say Mets fans are more concerned with the Yankees then they are their own team. But, this is a perfect example of how Yankee fans themselves are obsessed with talking about the Mets and their fans. If you trully don't care about the Mets then stick to talking about the topic instead of talking about us (again).
:lol: my comment came after a met fan came in and made a comment on how its been 7 years since the yankees won the series,so i had to point out that he is a fan of a team that hasn't won in 20. He made my statement relevant. And that theory is FAR from wrong. Everyone knows how the Met fans pay a ridiculous amount of attention to the Yankees and root against them.
