The Bye Week

there are two glaring things that need to be addressed for the Jets to be successful...because i agree with you NDmick...the Jets opened it up this week, and unfortunetly, it didn't go their way.

But the 2 things they need to rectify are:

1) Favre absolutely needs to build chemistry with his wideouts...some of those INT's just made me nauseated. But that's the pitfalls we endure when we take the reigns off a gunslinger like Favre.

and 2) Jenkins needs to be healthy and upright. He's the most important cog to our defensive scheme.....if he's out for awhile...that could spell disaster. The Jets need a contingency plan...and i'm not sure Pouha is that answer.

 

This team won't run with Arizona

1) Rivers had all day to throw today. We have no rush. Warner will rip our defense apart.

2) Unless Favre learns a lot over the week, he still has a ways to go to get on the same page as everyone else.

 

We'll get pressure if Jenkins returns. We need him in this offense, he's been our most dominant player.

 

This team will get smoked by Arizona. They couldn't contain Chris Chambers and Gates, they're going to be destroyed by Boldin and Fitzgerald.

1-3 at the bye, on the way to 7-9. We could've done that with Pennington and still kept our 4th round pick (or will it be a 2 by the time the Jets throw in the towel?)

 

After tonight's performance, hopefully there's some sense of urgency. We came out flat on offense to start the game.

 

Hey Mick--you were right about us being outclassed by SD--they're really a terrific team and we were no match.

I think we can take Arizona and 2-2 into the bye is good.

I thought the offensive game plan was well-called. Keep on playing that way and the wins will follow.

It has been installed as 6-point favorites over the Jets.

 

if they get close to 30 i don't see the Jets winning this one

 

I'm really glad the Jets have an early bye this year... they need it.
