Billionaire oilman owner Pegula gets gifted a new stadium from NYS taxpayers, a sweetheart deal negotiated by team COO Ron Raccuia, with 800 million+ in public funding. Then Pegula fires Raccuia abruptly in August, citing to his management style. Announcing a contract the next day though with Jerry Jones' consulting firm 'Legends' to run the stadium planning, Pegula also hires his personal stockbroker to become team COO, with zero sports experience, a guy named John Roth --- Here we are just 3 months later. Jerry Jones' company is overrunning costs of the new stadium to the tune of hundreds-of millions of dollars... And today, Pegula's stockbroker turned COO John Roth, had to be fired cause he was banging the team legal counsel, a subordinate. They are both fired https://apnews.com/article/buffalo-...relationship-fa14b9ae5a6e733546b25928f8399bec
The Bills are looking pretty cooked. They havent played well in like a month. 4-3 but they have had an easy schedule so far. The tough teams that the Jets have already played are still upcoming for them (Chiefs, Eagles, Cowboys)
When he's not getting his offensive linemen into fistfights and then walking away like Haters gonna Hate guy.
It sounds weird cause the Jets suck and Allen still is a good, young NFL QB but I wouldn't trade overall situations with them. You get the sense they are close to an implosion. I was listening a little on the radio and their usually gung-ho sideline reporter described the sideline as "lifeless." Stefon Diggs appears to be the only one that cares anymore and he's a head case. But at least he's upset with the results. They remind me a lot of the 2011 Jets with superstars and high expectations who melted down and a loud veteran receiver taking the majority of the blame, who may or may not have been rightfully blamed either Sanchez at least wanted to be great though, Idk... Allen seems like he's pretty happy and maxxed out
Allen seems like the book is out on him. He’s made a career of breaking the pocket and making spectacular plays but I think he’s getting the cover 2 treatment that stumped Mahomes for a bit a couple years ago. Force them to go 12 plays/75 yards every time and he’ll make a mistake somewhere along the line. Feels like they should be running the ball with Cook more. That’s how you force safeties down.
Diggs has come off as a cancer for years. It was so obvious that the team and coaches had to go out of their way to say how great he is before the start of the season. Then a reporter got caught saying what everyone knows, Diggs is not a good person to work with. He's also fake as shit because after that the whole team had to double down on diggs is awesome material because he was butthurt about the image he's created over years of behavior. Self manufactured clown show.
I disagree that Diggs is the problem there. The guy is intense and abrasive but I'd rather have that then a QB who is checked out and doesn't care. Last year in the playoffs they were sleepwalking through the game and Diggs is trying to fire up his teammates like the QB shoulda been doing and Diggs was characterized as the problem either way I think he's gone in the offseason and so is Gabriel Davis. It will be Josh Allen throwing to some rookie and TE Dalton Kincaid haha
He has almost a $30 million dollar cap hit next year. His cap situation is really tricky if they want to get rid of him. I can't imagine they just straight up cut him only to save $38 million over 25/26/27. Tough spot.
Also I'll drop this in since LOLBills @ Cinci Jets @ Philly @ KC Dallas @ LAC @ Miami Very possible they lose 4 or 5 of those 7 and finish at 10-7 or 9-8.
Holy crap dudes --We should have the problems the Bills have--they'll be there at the end--geez, Josh Allen is an excellent qb in a bit of a slump imo. "The reports of my demise were greatly exaggerated"
Philly and KC on the road will be tough. Although the Bills have won at Arrowhead the past 2 regular seasons games. The Bengals haven't been all that great this season. When was the last time the Jets won in Buffalo. Dallas is good but they have their flaws as well. They did lose at Arizona. The Chargers on paper are very good but they always seem to disappoint. Besides I bet the Bills will have almost as many fans at Sofi as the Chargers do so that isn't a real road game. They smoked the Dolphins already. Miami is 0-2 against winning teams and have been outscored by a combined 42 points. It's a tough schedule but the Bills have a good shot to win these games.
