Began yesterday, Jordan Speith -6 leads after Day One....1st hole Ernie Els 6 putted , missed a 3', 11", 10" and 2" putt
I was traveling and couldn't follow it today. I have to read what happened to Spieth after 8th hole? He was -9 at some point and then things went downward spiral for him.
It was truly something special seeing Tom Watson take his final steps as a player in the Master's. You could clearly see the emotion he was feeling.
Spieth - Rory showdown about to start on CBS. Tune in. Fuck Masters. Why this super conservative TV coverage? I get it, this is the most prestigious tournament but this is like not televising the first quarter of the Superbowl.
They should have a very special sports festival where golf, soccer and tennis are all featured. That's something I could really ignore.
The English can finally say they have a real individual champion in a Sport's prime event...Considering Andy Murray is Scottish.
I mean Spieth is about as composed of a 22 year old I've ever seen. I'm a little over a year older than him and can't imagine having that type of composure on that stage. No one will ever match Tiger's dominance, but this kid is definitely going to be something special and possibly somewhat comparable to Tiger. On that note, golf is pretty brutal to watch on television. They need to create something like NFL ticket where the viewer can flip around to the golfers they want to watch. The broadcast and broadcasters do their best to try to 'follow' everyone but jesus christ it's brutally slow.
