    Wow... just wow. Favre and Coles lighting it up, defense taking advantage of opportunities, I'm almost at a loss for words. Wow.

    Perhaps the only thing that sucks is that we are doing this to the Cardinals and not a team I truly despise like the Pats or Fish.

    wow you havent been a jets fan long huh..........I knew going into the half that they would turn into the SAME OLD JETS!

    The Jets only outscored the Dolphins by 16 points in the 2nd half of that game. You could say that the Jets 4th quarter performance from that game was their best quarter, though.

    I was thinking about a different Tampa Bay game. On December 14, 1997 the Jets thoroughly dominated a playoff-bound Bucs team.

    The Jets won the game 31-0.
    The Buccaneers finished with 6 first downs, 90 yards rushing, and 21 yards passing. Otis Smith picked off three passes and returned two for touchdowns.

    The Jets outscored the Bucs 17-0 in the 1st half and 14-0 in the second half.

    As for the 1985 game, the Jets outscored the Bucs 41-21 in the first half and 21-7 in the second half.

    Immediately followed by one of the worst single quarters I've seen the Jets play. Sutton really needs to go...

    probably 1st half vs New England on September 9, 1979

    Patriots led at halftime 35-3

    Patriots won 56-3

    That game was all D and STs though, our O didn't do much. I think 3 of our TDs were from a KR and 2 Otis Smith INT returns.

    Yes, Smith did return two of his three interceptions for scores.
    Leon Johnson returned the 2nd half kickoff for a touchdown.

    Even though the Jets offense didn't break any records, I still thought the team dominated the game. The Bucs couldn't do much right and never scored.
