So I'm checking my three FF teams after Thanksgiving. I am pleased to see some of my guys (Warner, Owens, Chris Johnson) had big days. Surely I'm going to be looking good for all 3 games. Then I check the matchups. ALL THREE TEAMS HAVE BRIAN WESTBROOK ON THEM! The guy who just scored 4 TD on Thanksgiving. And one opponent also had Lendale White (who had 2 TD and 100+ yards). So basically I'm screwed. Unless some of my additional players have great games, I'm likely going down. It's too many points to make up. Damn !
It would be hilarious if he did this to you AND you had him last year when he didn't score on purpose and it cost you the game.
Had Westbrook on the bench because I wasnt sure if he would play. When I found out he was good to go, I couldnt get to the internet because I was with my parents who got their garage robbed of all their computer equipment the night before, cable modem included. Watching just the first quarter alone made me nauseous. Westbrook, 37.5 points...and I need to win to make the playoffs. Not to mention, Cardinals defense, -11 points. Fuck me..
I also had TE Jason Witten on the bench. He hasn't done squat since he got hurt. Of course this weekend he decides to come back with a vengence - 100+ yards and a TD. Aaarrrggh !
LOL I had Witten on the bench on one team and Chris Johnson on the bench on another team. Hopefully Keller, Addai, and DeAngelo make me look smart tomorrow. I'm in first but may drop to 4th or worse if I loose this week due to my crazy logic.
Well I ended up going 2-1 against the juggernaut that was Brian Westbrook. For the winners I guessed well on my RB and ended up with a ton of points. The team that lost I started Favre at QB. What a stinker of a game he had. Oh well, on to the playoffs . . .
I hear ya buddy my opponent this week had Westbrook. Right now im down 83-84 with all his guys done and I have Owen Daniels going tomorrow. I can actually see Daniels with 0 catches tomorrow with the way he;s been playing.
I think the change in QB really affected Daniels. He had something going with Schaub and was the top TE in the AFC. When Schaub went down, Daniels FF points went to zero. It's too bad since the kid is really talented. He's hoping he catches at least 20 yards of passes tomorrow !
