I am still laughing that the Redskins gave up a 2007 2nd rd pick to move up in the 2nd rd.

I think it might be a good move for them.

It was defiently a good move for us though.

I'm not, it will probably be a late second and we could've had a stud WR in Chad Jackson who instead went to our biggest rivals to fill their biggest need.

You got a picture of the guy we drafted in the 2nd, the guy who they clearly wanted all along and were able to get, but not before we were able to essentially turn a 6th round pick this year into NO WORSE than the 64th overall selection next year, and you are pissed? I am confused.

The second round pick will be huge for us in next year's draft probably allowing us to package it and move up in the first round for a running back like Adrian Peterson or whatever positon we will seriously need next year.

They are gonna be good next year, so that 2nd rounder could prove to be less than hoped for.

EDIT:: I shouldn't have said "crap"

It is a 2nd rounder, after all.

Not to mention the Skins are in a brutal division and could very easily miss the playoffs, thus making our 2nd that much better...

And Chad Jackson is not a "stud" WR, or else he would have gone in the first round. He's a fast dude that happened to play at Florida. He could be Travis Taylor all over again.

Could very well be... I just like the foresight of it, and feel like we actually fleeced the Skins a bit, since we got the guy we wanted anyway. It was a good read on the board at that time, knowing Clemens would probably last down. When it looked like he might not make it to the 53, they used that six to go up and get him.
I think the FO (and notice I say FO, as the idea that Tannenbaum is making these picks by himself is just ridciulous) was having a wonderful draft until their two third round picks, which, to be honest, to me, are head scratchers.

we could get 2 more Olinemann next year with our 1st 2picks. we need a guard and RT. We dont a rb cause curtis gonna run for 7 more years and behind him we have 1500 yard rusher in houston.

As one of the biggest Chad Jackson fans on this board, he is seriously starting to get overrated with all the "can't miss prospect" type of talk around him.

The Pats got themselves a hell of a steal, that's all we know. Stud? c'mon.

Just remember-guys like Terrell Owens, and Daunte Culpepper were traded for 2nd round picks-so that extra 2nd round pick could end up being huge

Hah! That alone would've been worth the trade. :)
