Hopefully Bart Scott doesn't get to him .. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/peter_king/05/26/tom.brady/index.html
How's he going to fit in another 10 years of football? He's responsible for Gisele's grocery shopping now.
Don't know .. Was thinking the samething.. If the Pats can squeeze another 7 to 8 years.. I'ld be happy ..
Brady could hang around. Namath's knees started falling apart around 1970 and he still hung around until '77.
I don't think it's about proving anything with him. I think he just loves football, period. Favre always has loved Sundays, but guys like Brady love being in the lockerroom and on the practice field. Just being around football... Montana was another one of those. He had nothing to prove either, but he kept playing as long as he could. Too early to say right now, but the Jets may have one of those in Sanchez. He seems to have that same football love, at least according to everything we've read so far about this spring's OTA's.
Yeah. And the irony is that I bet he's happy they got TO. Except our owner is trying to sell expensive tickets to the fans and the Bills' ownership is trying to sell their team to another country.
Brady was already the slowest good QB in the league before he got injured, so I don't see why this knee injury makes a difference. Optimistic Jet fans are going to have to hope for something more realistic than Tom Brady sucking at football.
Actually Montana did have something to prove after not being able get his job back after the injury in the 1990 NFC Championship Game.
I have two people I want to introduce to Mr. Brady. Perhaps they can help him decide to spend more time with his wife instead. Their names are Mr. Jason Taylor and Mr. Joey Porter. I think he's met them before but I really can't wait for him to meet them again and again. Perhaps they can give him some reasons to spend time with his supermodel wife. I'm sure for you Jets fans hope that Bart Scott will also have some influence on Brady's future plans.
it wasn't his speed, it was his ability to slide in the pocket that is amongst the best in the league. That kind of knee injury may have negative affects on sliding in the pocket... but we'll see.
Actually I am happy about T.O. Someone on our team needs to show some sort of passion. Either way, playoffs or the crypt keeper is gone.......
As long as BB and Kraft keep TB supplied with good recievers, he'll play till his knees fall off. Drafting OL and signing blocking TE's is also a good thing.
