@ Vicente Padilla (3-2, 4.71 ERA) vs. AJ Burnett (3-2, 4.78 ERA) Scott Feldman (4-0, 3.1 ERA) vs. Andy Pettitte (5-1, 4.10 ERA) Brandon McCarthy (5-2, 4.35 ERA) vs. CC Sabathia (5-3, 3.46 ERA)
The series with four billion home runs. A-Rod hits one billion of them, but 900 million of those come when the games are already out of hand, the stat-padder.
Alright, here's the deal. I had this whole story written out and decided to scratch it and just go with the following. I've followed the Yankees for the last 14 years. Can't necessarily call myself a hardcore fan (the Jets are enough for me), because I wasn't necessarily a fan of baseball. But I do know the general rules of the game. In recent years, I've tried to play closer attention. This year, I've gone out of my way to watch every game and would like to learn more about strategy, stat comprehension, pitching, etc. with you guys help. Therefore, I just want to put it out there that if and when I do make un-educated observations about the game/stats, to understand where I'm coming from. Anyway, here's to learning from you guys, and I look forward to engaging in good convos wit'chall. And as always...GO YANKEES!!!!
Please dont. If you start letting Don pour poison in your ear, I might as well consider you a Sawx fan.
Nice upper deck bomb by Posada. typeO, I think the message was clear...Don't fuck with Mark Teixeira.
Playing Texas is like playing Mahwah when I was in HS. You love to play them, pad the shit out of your STATS, you get to fuck around on the bus ride home. Cop a blowjob after the game...
