I am surprised the Texans have kept this game so close. However, the real reason I started this thread is that it is amazing that these announcers have callled Eli Peyton all day. It is actually getting sort of annoying.
david carr is really showing me something. big pressure on 3rd and 6 and he gets 5 on the scramble so they can go for it on 4th, then manages to avoid the rush near the goaline and dive in for the TD. joke of an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for "celebration"
wow, another idiotic penalty from the giants even with the 15 yard backup that kickoff went to about where Nugent averages.
Carr finally gets a smart offensive coach who knows how to protect the QB, and now he looks like a good QB.
Carr has always looked like a good QB in a bad situation to me. He's always flashing great talent but spends too much time on his back. If Kubiak keeps this team moving in the right direction, Carr may make up for some lost time.
Out of curiousity, was Chad Morton as bad with the Jets as he is with the Giants? Because he is really awful, and I can't wait until he's benched for Jennings.
He was a product of our ST blocking.Outside of returning the two kickoffs for TDs against the Bills(one of the worst STs in the league at that time),he dd nothing.
Morton had a great game in Buffalo. Made him millions of dollars. Good for him. Besides that, nothing special.
chad morton was good with the jets...he won a game against the bills single-handed with a return for a TD in OT...i think he had one in regulation that game too i like david carr, by the way...he's tough and smart...i think he'd be good on a better team
the defender wasn't fooled. of course he brilliantly initiates contact with shockey allowing him to push off and make the catch, and draw a flag on himself for good measure.
