No way this pick should be anything but an OL. Any of the 4 lineman in this poll would be great but they have so desperately needed at LT since the beggining and they draft him now. A little bit of a gamble due to injury but if he pans out they will have their franchise LT...

Houston Texans select OT Eric Winston, Miami.

    I agree, undoubtedly Winston.

    This is a blowout.

Winston, although he projects more as a RT, given his struggles with speed rushers this past season.

LT is a much bigger need then C for them. Seth McKinney is a much more dependable guy then whoever is playing LT there. They don't need a C right now and it is a luxury... so they fill a need they've had since they started.

I like Winston, but Chester Pitts can hold down the LT spot for the Texans. Interior line is a huge problem for them. Steve Mckinney is better suited as a Guard than a center. I would take Mangold over Winston.

You're way off base. Pitts is terrible at tackle. If they could move him back to guard, that makes them better at two positions.

You're wrong. Pitts can hang at LT. McKinney is a sieve at center. Honestly I don't think Winston or Mangold last until the second round.

I would rather see the Texans take defense with the #33 pick. They are transitioning to the 4-3 and don't have a MLB. D'qwell or Hodge would be nice.

Unless y'all want to trade Vilma and the #4 for our #1

If you think Pitts is a capable left tackle, you didn't watched a single Texans game last season. Unless you think "capable" or "can hang" means "frequently incurs penalties and gets destroyed by speed rushers" or "gets his quarterback killed on a regular basis."

Pitts is garbage. Pretty much that entire OL is garbage. If you try to tell me that they're going to not draft a single OL in the first 2 rounds you have no clue about this team. They're line is piss poor at best and they need help IMMEADIATELY. Winston is a guy that can play either LT or RT and if he is healthy he can be the franchise LT that the Texans have never had. Of course trading down for D'Brick is a better option there but no trades allowed in this mock...
