    4. DeMario Davis, linebacker, New York Jets

Head coach Rex Ryan raised unreasonable expectations when he compared Davis' mannerisms and leadership to Ray Lewis, but the third-rounder was limited to nickel packages as a rookie. With Bart Scott out of the picture, Davis will combine with pass rusher Quinton Coples to add a much-needed speed element to the Jets' front seven this season. One NFL executive said last summer that Davis projects as an eight- or 10-year starter based on his strong talent level.

Nice to see him on this list

Thats who I was hoping would be on the list when I opened it but davis was but they did mention quinton in there. I think he will be a hell of a player along side the secondest player at his position(Big boy Wilkerson)

Yea know way we are worse then last year. Even of we don't have a better record we will still be a better team. Offense can only get better, should score more points and not be blown out in a shit ton of games like last season

I'm stoked to watch the D go to work in 2013. If the offense doesn't go 3 and out like a bodily function leaving the D on the field 45 mins a game, this should be a top 5 unit like always under RR.

Coples should definitely be on there. I like Demario Davis, but I would LOVE it if the Jets drafted Arthur Brown in the second and had him start alongside Harris. then in 2014, cut or trade Harris and have Davis and Brown start.

Defense going to be fine. Pick up another safety and we are set.

I love how Ciminidiot says we need a corner if Revis is traded. Hello? Did you see our pass D play how well for 13 games without him last yr? And that was without any type of pass rush. Moron...

Bottom line is we need playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. Gimme Austin and Ertz and or Eifert and lets go....

    - 2 of the better starting safeties we've had in the past decade. If Bush and Allen can step up then I agree this defense won't skip a beat.

But i'm not sure that can happen right now. Landry made a lot of plays for us last season.

Cant wait for DD to get much more playing time, This defense is so young and now they have a few years under theirs belts, Well except for the new rookie we are going to draft. ( OLB )
thats my guess. I like it when we are flying under the radar and when people think
were going to suck. I like what the new GM is doing and I also think we will surprise a lot of people. Come on Schedule, COME ON DRAFT.
