How John Elway and John Fox have this fan in complete and utter shock. This is a modern day Cinderella story, to help get your mind out of the dumps after the horrible loss to the patriots last night. ~Chapter 1~ WHAT THE WHAT THE WHAT? •How is it that the record holder of NCAA Division 1A 4-year passer rating record, has a completion percentage of just 20% in a game? •How is it that he gets only 8 passing attempts per game average in 8 quarters of his last 4 games? Passes mind you where against the 23rd averaged passing defense in the league. •How is it that Tebow had over 40 pass plays against the Lions 5th best passing defense in the league. If this guy is not being set up to fail then someone needs to explain what the motive is here. •Do John Elway and John Fox plan on passing it 40 times next week, against the 6th best passing defense; while abandoning the run like they did against the Lions in the first half? I mean how do you abandon the run when you jack the Lions for 50 yards on the first drive, by allowing you RB's to get only 5 carries in the next 6 drives of the half? Point is giving Tebow only 4 passing attempts a half, does not lend itself to Tebow being at fault, regarding his completion percentage, especially when every pass is a high risk deep pass play rather than the high percentage pass plays Orton threw seemingly 99% of the time. You can't keep Tebow from throwing against team's such as the Chiefs that made Matt Moore look like a hall of famer last week, and justify it by the way he looked in the Lions game when he was forced to face the No.5 passing defense one dimensionally as Fox abandoned the run virtually the entire first half after the first drive. How do you pound the Lions 29th ranked rushing defense on the first drive of the game for 50 yards before two passing attemtps at the end of that drive force a field goal, and then decide to only allow your backs to run the ball just 5 times in the next six drives of the first half against the Lions 29th ranked rushing defense? was there any way in hell you could conjure up a worst game plan for Tebow to try and execute in his second start of the season against the Lions? Especially after refusing Tebow the opportunity to develope chemistry with his starting receivers, against the 24th averaged passing defense of the Dolphins, Raiders or Chiefs.
~Chapter 2~ Last Fridays Blog Critquing Elway and Fox, has this fan shocked Coaches conspire week in and week out how to tackle their opponents. The conspiracy emerges as reality after the fact, when the scheme is played out for all those to see. Now that we have 3 weeks of scheming, we can dissect it to determine whether or not Tebow's passing game was handicapped by the scheme or not. Tebows 73% completion percentage~!! Outside of the two drives that occured at the end of the second half of the Raiders game; Tim Tebow had a 73% completion percentage and two TD's during the rest of the game. These are the numbers that you would expect from the Aaron Rogers, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady's of the world. The last two drives of the second quarter are what led to Tebows passing percentage demise. Why? 1 rushing play for every 6 passing plays. John Foxes passing scheme has for the most part lacked the continuity and balance that is a vitally instrumental of any successful passing offense. Putting Tebow in the position of being forced into ne predictable pass play after another, did nothing more than play into the strength of the opponents defense, while destroying Tebows completion percentage. The thing that killed Tebows passing percentages has more to do with the adjustments Fox made in the second quarter. Fox has yet to beat any team this season with his second quarter adjustments. Broncos verses opponents by the Quarter 1st Quarter - 5-2-1 (37pts vs 30pts) 2nd Quarter - 0-6-2 (20pts vs 97pts) 3rd Quarter - 3-3-2 (38pts vs 47pts) 4th Quarter - 3-2-3 (70pts vs 50pts) Schemeing opponents, adjusting to the opponents, is something John Fox has been brutally horrible at. How do you allow Tebow to record only 8 passing attempts in 4 quarters against the 24th average ranked passing defense of the Raiders and the Dolphins; and then force him to get into a frenzy of over 40 passing plays against the Lions 5th ranked passing Defense? Fishy is not even the word for it. Is it any wonder so many Conspiracy theories are flying around regarding EFX sabotaging Tebow? How do you pound the Lions 29th ranked rushing defense on the first drive of the game for 50 yards before two passing attemtps at the end of that drive force a field goal, and then decide to only allow your backs to run the ball just 5 times in the next six drives of the first half against the Lions 29th ranked rushing defense? There is no way in hell you could conjure up a worst game plan for Tebow to try and execute in his second start of the season, while attempting to develope chemistry with his starting receivers, this is a luxury Tebow did not have against the 24th averaged passing defense of the Dolphins and Raiders. Allowing Tebow to only record 8 passing attempts in 4 quarters against them, and over 40 passing plays against the Lions in 4 quarters has the scheme of our two Johns wreaking a Mile High. Seeing Tebows 73% completion percentage buried beneath Foxes egregious scheme in the Raiders game is no surprise to a guy who watched how Tebow became the owner of the NCAA Division 1A 4-year passer ranking record. Seeing fan after fan and analyst after analyst get bent out of shape by the tainted small sample resulting from Tebows current completion percentage is indeed disturbing. How methodical do you have to be to diabolically make the owner of the NCAA Division 1A 4-year passer ranking record, from the SEC no less look so horrible? Completion percentage ought to be defined by chemistry and scheme The completion percentage has more to do with chemistry with your receivers and coaching scheme than the so-called experts care to admit. Having two of the best receivers on the team, that you've already developed chemistry with jetissoned before you make your first start has to hurt. John Elway letting go of Jabar Gaffney was one thing, but trading Brandon Lloyd, the best WR on the Broncos team for a 6th round pick the week before Tebow makes his first start is mind blowing for a QB who invested time and money to ship Lloyd down to Florida during the offseason to develop that essential continuity, chemistry a QB needs to have with his receivers to succeed at this level. This youtube footage really puts into perspective the chemistry and continuity Tebow is missing out on this season as the result of having his two favorite receivers jettisoned from the team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Hj63...eature=related John Fox and John Elway have gone to great lengths in regards to putting on a clinic of what not to do. When facing one of the worst passing defenses in the league, Fox decided to allow Tebow to record only 8 passing attempts in the first three-quarters of the Dolphins game, Tebows first start this season. Talk about an opportunity to missed to help hone in the QB's grove with the receivers. If there was ever an oppportunity to get Tebow the passing reps he needed to get up to speed it was this game. While carrying the ball and chain of Foxes scheme, Tebow has still managed to give Fox twice the wins he had before in just 1/3 of the games. Fox set a horrible tempo with Tebow right out of the gate Tebows first pass play of the season as a starter, had the left defensive end coming at him unchecked. The most important guy to block on defense, getting the greenlight to kill Tebow on his first pass play of the season, pretty much set the tempo for the rest of his starts. Think about it, it was not until Foxes back was against the wall that he finally allowed Tebow to possess the passing reps which allowed him to get up to speed to the point of actually snatching victory out of the mouth of defeat in the Dolphins game. Tebow did not even record his first pass in the Raiders game until the second drive of the game. It just so happened to be on 3rd and 16 no less. Hell Tebow did not even record his first passing attempt and completion of the season until 3rd and long of the Chargers game. And even that was followed up by two deep passes. How is a QB supposed to get into rythm when you have him making 2 of his first three passes on 3rd and long, while forcing receivers into long drawn out deep routes in the wake of 8-10 defenders stacked in the box rushing Tebow with their ears peeled back? Where the hell has all the high percentae pass plays gone? Kyle Orton made his living with about 95% of his oasses being high percentage pass play's, you would think that is how you would break a QB in who has yet to even practice with the starters, well you would if you wanted to do anything other than make him look bad. It is clear that Fox has taken an illogical approach in regards to executing a passing scheme that would allow Tebow to thrive, rather than having to try and survive not being killed. EFX were hired to get this team headed in the right direction. Yet thus far what we have seen has been nothing short of a circus act~!! Is it no wonder so many are screaming sabotage, while seeing this team be hijacked by the two clowns? John Elway and John Fox have what 50+ years of football experience at the highest level under their belt combined? Could they have done a better job of trying to make Tebow look bad than this, while in an attempt to be politically correct about the whole situation of putting the fans in their place for having the nerve to dictate to them who starts for the Broncos? When you see the debachery of the scheme, you have to ask yourself, what is the motive of it, it clearly was not the opponent considering how rather than exploit their weakness, Tebow was sent out to charge into the teeth of th eopponent time and time again. The beauty of hindsight takes this matter and transforms the conspiracy into actualy reality; as the scheme has been exposed for all to see. It is what it is. EFX have gone to great strides to make the owner of the NCAA Division 1A 4-year passer rating record, from the SEC no less, look so incompetant, that he was voted most overrated player by his peers, when in reality that could not be any further from the truth. To be honest I don't know how to gener this story, whether or not to catagorize it as a tragedy or a comedy, because the way I see it, the laugh is on the two Johns stinking up the place~!! Tebow has indeed been the difference maker this season. Despite the fact Tebow in about 1/3 of the games this season has given EFX twice the wins they possessed with Orton, they are both still opposed to declaring him the future starting QB. The two Johns have labeled Tebow a week to week interim QB, while IMO seemingly doing everything in their power to bring him down, while taking as politically correct of a tack as humanly possible. Tim Tebow keeps showing EFX how it is done; yet EFX refuse to acknowledge the fact that Tim Tebow is in fact light years ahead of where Elway was when he started his 6th game. Elway has never rushed for over 100 yards. Folks keep talking about it being a different era back then, well Tebow is beating Elway at his own game as a scrambler. So many said it couldn't be done, Tebow is however doing it in record breaking fashion. John Elway's longest run was 31 yards in 1989. According to the Broncos media guide, in NFL history since 1950 Tim Tebow was just the sixth quarterback to ever rush for 100 yards and pass for at least two touchdowns in a single game. I wonder how many of the 6 had a QB rating that was over 98?
~Chapter 3~ Part 2 of Fridays Blog (Has to make you wonder if Elway is trying to protect having overrated status as the legend of Broncos Lore EXPOSED) Tebow verses Elway Tebow is light years ahead from what Elway was in his first 6 games. John ELWAY 1983 Game--Comp----Att----Yds---Int---W/ 1-------1-------8-----14----1----W 2-------9------21-----106---0----W 3-------8------13-----193---2----L 4-------6------11-----71----1----L 5-------4------10-----36----1----L 6-------8------15-----134---0----L ~Elways completion percentage was under 50% ~Tim Tebow has twice the yards ~Elway scored just 2 TD's, Tebow scored 12 TD's Tebow having twice as many yards as Elway and 6 times the TD's is not out of touch with reality given the two era's, Dan Marino had 7 Times as many TD's in first 6 games, while also having twice as many yards, it was not only the same era, but the same season. Tebow has 1547 and 12 TD's with his first 6 starts. Tebow is averaging 257 yards per game. That is twice as many yards as Elway managed in his first 6 start span. Add to that Tebow has got 6 times as many TD's in the very same span. Tim Tebow is on the verge of shattering John Elways 96 season record where he had the best TD record of his career (30). He is well on his way to shattering that seasons yardage record as well. In 93 Elway had 4,183 yards that was actually his total yardage season record. This means all Tebow needs in the rest of his 16 game complete season stretch is 264 yards and 1.9 TD's per game average to shatter the legends best TD and Yardage record ever. Tebow better than the rest? When you consider how tebow stacks up against the rest of the QB's outside of the top ten in this league, EFX ought to be ashamed at the way they refuses to officially hand over the reigns to Tebow; to knight him if you will as Lord over this team, rather than aim to reach for an opportunity to pull the rug out from underneath him, by benching him for Brady Quinn, a QB who has had more than his fair share of opportunites prove himself. To show just how out of touch with reality John Fox and John Elway are in regards to giving Tebow the red headed step child treatment that has Tim Tebow emerging as an interim QB rather than the actual future of this franchise, I decided to break down some other QB's currently starting in this league. When you start breaking down the QB's in this league who are endorsed by their coaches and GM's as being anything other than interim QB's who would you rather have than Tebow in regards to your starter from all the 22 other QB's outside of the top 10? Bradford has only started 6 games this season, comparing his second season to Tebows first 6 starts and it really starts hitting home at just how good Tebow actually is when compared to the first pick of the draft Tebow was later selected in. Bradford is heralded as the Future of the Rams without question, yet the guy is 0-6 this season. Total Yards Tebow 1547 Bradford 1,456 Touchdowns Tebow 12 Bradford 3 Turnovers Tebow 5 Bradford 7 Why Tebow is an Interim QB? First half of the Raiders game outside of the scoring drive was a tale of two tails. Fox either ran the ball or passed the ball, balance and continuity with the play-calling was nonexistant. The first scoring drive had Tebow passing out of the gate on first down, this of course set up a 32 yard run, which then eventually led to the 27 yard TD strike which revealed just how phenomenally accurate tebow can be when allowed to possess the continuity and balance a scheme ought to posses. Tebow managed to go 4 of 6 prior to the last two drives of the second-quarter. Seeing the Sly Fox relegating Tebow to Zero passes in the 4th quarter, and only 5 passing attempts the second half of the Raiders game, where he went four of five with one TD, disturbes me, considering the reps he missed at the beginning of the season, and needs to bild chemistry with his recievers the rest of the season. The 4th quarter would have been a great opportunity to get Tebow even more passing reps considering the Raider defense was religated to being held in check from pinning their ears back and coming at Tebow from a stacked box, after stacked box. Tebow deserves more passing opportunities in a scheme possessing the continuity and balance that keeps opponents defenses in check, honest. Tebow deserves to have a scheme that revolves around his strengths, that means his passing as well as rushing. Why is it that we had to wait 12 quarters until we seen Tebows phenomenal running ability unleashed? It is not as if John Fox was not familiar with the zone read, considering all the years he had to prepare for Michael Vic. Tebow deserves to execute a scheme that has him targetting the opponents weaknesses rather than predictably going into the teeth of their strengths more often than not. The Broncos fan base deserve it. Is it really a Modern Day Cinderella Story The saga of this Cinderella story continues, Elway the wicked elitist step mother, (he did not birth Tebow into the team) needs to get a grip on reality and how, because at the moment he is emerging to be nothing more than a deranged freak who refuses to hand the reigns of the Broncos over to Tebow without ambiguitous hesitation, a hesitation that cost this team at least 4 losses this season, maybe 5 when you consider the scheme the sly Fox drew up for the Detroit Lions game. Fox and Elway are just itching to pull the trigger finger on Tebow, Elway admitted he was were ready to pull it out during the Raiders game. Their agenda to sabotage Tebow in order to yank the rug out from under him has flown under the radar for the majority of fans, but the facts speak for themselves. How in the hell do you abandon the run after 50 yards gained by it on the first drive? 5 runs in the next 6 drives against one of the worst rushing defenses in the league? Really? Only eight passing attempts in four-quarters against the 24th averaged ranked team of the Raiders and Dolphins? Really? Over 40 passing attempts against a top 5 passing defense in the league? Really? Expecting a QB to succeed with the handicapp of having the teams best WR trading away for a sixth round pick just prior to Tebow making his first start? Really? When John Fox say's "We can say its Tim's Fault, but we won't," in the light of what he has accomplished while wearing the straight Jacket of his scheme, makes John out to be a scapegoating coward IMO. After 3 starts this season, I think Fox has gone to great legnths to put on a clinic for what not to do with Tim Tebow more often than not, Proving just how far John Elway and John Fox diabolically schemed to emerge as the one's who had it right all along regarding Tebow not starting this season. Being opposed to Tebow starting, made EFX an opponent of Tebow. Now EFX had to opponents to scheme against each week. No one in their position is stupid enough to scheme opponents like they did, without having an alterior motive. Elway went to Standford for God sakes. The scheme has nothing to do with their stupidity, but rather their brilliance, a brilliant scheme clearly exposed. John Elway has gone to great strides to hijack this fan bases rallying spirit behind Tebow, he has Broncos fan wanting to pick him apart in order to justify the position of their god John Elway. In a perfect world Tebow would need to be more consistent, but Tebow is playing in EFX's world. A conspiracy emerges as reality after the fact, when the scheme is played out for those to see
“You can always go back and question, ‘We could’ve done this,’ or, ‘We could’ve done that,’ but we won the game,” said Elway, the team’s executive vice president of football operations. “As the season continues to go,” Elway added later, “the game is going to dictate whether we throw the ball or we run the ball. Yesterday, we were dictating what we wanted to do.” http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos...sas-city-dictated-heavy-rushing-attack/10693/ Point Elway fails to acknowledge is the fact that you need to seize the moment when you are facing the 24th ranked passing defense in regards to getting your young QB up to speed with his questionable passing game. You don't throw it 8 times per game average in 8 of the last 16 of Tebows quarters and expect this team to thrive when you decide to attempt over 40 pass plays against the now 4th ranked passing defense in the league in the Lions. Allowing Tebows growth to be intentionally stunted and missing this phenomenal window of opportunity to make up for all the lost time Tebow missed practicing with the starters during training camp and the first 5 games is egregiously indsidious. When Elway say's "the game is going to dictate...", know the game he is referring too is the one he is playing on Tebow and Broncos fan. A game, mind you, that has already cost the Broncos 5 wins... Jets No.8 Passing Defense No.20 Broncos Jets No.15 Rushing Befense No.16 Broncos Now if there ever was a game that called for a balanced scheme, it is the Jets game, is that too much to ask? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So,'' I said to Fox, "is Tebow your quarterback the rest of the way?'' "At this rate,'' he said, "I would say yes. Now, who knows? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/peter_king/11/14/Week10/index.html#ixzz1dhHp9s16 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ They where quick to crown Kyle Orton and pay him nearly 10 Mil this season to boot for being and having been a loser, yet the indecisiveness could not be anymore telling of just how hard it is for them to back Tebow. EFX can't back him with the scheme or even after a win without being ambiguous at best, depite the fact tebow has given them 4 times the wins that they had with Orton. I mean this is the same team that started 1-4, only difference is Tebow and having the best WR n the team traded right before Tim started. Good Grief~!!
EFX's scheme has slammed the window of opportunity shut, in regards to allowing the receivers and Tebow to get up to speed for the Jets by taking advantage of the 24th ranked passing defense of the Raiders, Dolphins and Chiefs. Allowing the passing unit only 8 passing attempts per game in two games worth of quarters against the 24th ranked pasing defense has in fact been a major set back considering this passing unit lacked preseason, training camp, the first 5 games to Jell. As far as I am concerned the opportunity to get this passing offense up to speed, was consciously and deliberately blown by EFX. Tebow IMO can if given the chance beat the Jets with his arm, but the passing scheme has got to come out of the gate throwing on first down, and mixing a 65 to 45 pass to run ratio in the first 3 quarters. I believe this is the formula for success against the Jets. But the pass plays can't be like they where last week forcing Tebow into throwing high risk pass after high risk pass. EFX need to revert back to the high percentage pass plays that Orton rn 99% of the time, while mixing in the deep passing game to keep the safeties honest. Tebow has proven time and time again he can win with his arm this season, yet EFX has this reality buried beneath their attempt to sabotage Tebow by making him out to be FB playing QB with the diabolical scheme. I don't believe Sanchez can win a shoot out with Tebow, due to his TD to turnover ratio. Now if the Jets attempt to run, they will be scheming into the Strenght of the Broncos defense. So I don't think this will be the case this weekend given LT's absence. Thing is I have no idea what the think tank, or rather stink tank has to offer Broncos fan in the form of scheme. It is one thing for Tebow to carry the ball and chain fo the sabotaging scheme against the Dolphins, Chiefs, and Raiders, but it is clearly too much of a daunting task to expect him to do that against the Lions or Jets for that matter. I hope my attempt to expose this diablolical reality, will force EFX to set Tebow free to be all he can be against the Jets with a scheme that lends itself to success rather than failure. If they do, and that is a big if, Tebows name could be synonamous with league MVP considering how he has taken a 1-4 team and turned it into 4-1 team while beating a play-off Darling in the Jets~!! I love this drama...
Woody Paige: Denver Broncos' Fox, Elway still aren't necessarily Tebow fans The problem is, of the quarterbacks who have started four or more games this season, Tebow has the third-highest winning percentage — .750. And in the other half-game he played at quarterback, the Broncos outscored the Chargers 14-6. So Tebow's record actually is 3½-1. The trouble is, Tebow just became the only quarterback in Broncos history to beat the Raiders and the Chiefs on the road in back-to- back games. Tebow has won four of the seven overall games he has started. His predecessor, Kyle Orton, won four games in the last 18 he started... But, more important, he gets almost no love from his head coach or the executive vice president of the Broncos. Fox refers to the team's quarterback as Tebow "or whoever," which certainly is an underwhelming vote of confidence. What if I wrote that next season the Broncos will be improved under Fox "or who- ever is the coach." Elway, who must be reminded that he never beat the Raiders and the Chiefs in back-to- back games, anywhere, any time, continues to be polite, but not gushing with praise about Tebow. As we all have discovered in life, it's tough when your bosses don't even believe in you... The lack of passing? That, too, shall pass, as the coaching staff lets Tebow do more. The .664 completion percentage and 88 touchdowns in college weren't an aberration. JAGSBCH IS NOT A BRONCOS FAN!! Please do not listen to this idiot. I had to create an account because I couldn't have this clown representing our fan base. He posts all of the time on our forum. He is annoying and the most biased Tebow fan on our boards. He is a Tebow fan, not a Broncos fan. With that said, I am looking forward to this game on Thursday. Denver has been winning with a dominant run game and pass rush lately. Von Miller has had 20 qb hits in the last two weeks. The guy is a beast and I am sure he will give Sanchez problems. This game worries me because Ryan is a great defensive coach. I haven't watched many Jets games this year but it seems like your pass rush is not what it use to be. If you can put pressure on Tebow and force him to make quick reads it will be a long day for Denver. Detroit used this strategy and dominated us. Our team is different from that game though. Since then we have catered to Tebow's strengths. Tebow is not as bad as his critics think nor is he as good as his fans project. One thing he does do is score. It's not always pretty but he somehow gets the job done. It should be interesting to see how it plays out. No offense, but Sanchez does not worry me at all. Denver will get pressure and I expect to see him make some mistakes. In order to be successful against us the Jets need to get the run game going. I don't really know what to think of this game. I think you guys got screwed having to play Sunday night. Being forced to fly across the country on a short week is no easy task, especially when you will be playing in altitude. The Jets worry me because I believe Ryan can put together a scheme to stop the Broncos option run. You never know though. You are welcome to come over to our message boards and talk about the game: forums.denverbroncos.com Over there you will find actual Denver fans. Anyways, here is to a good game this week.
Good post. Coach Ryan is going to do what he can to get Tebow and gang into 3rd and longs and force Tebow to beat them through the air. We were killed by Brady on Sun night, so overshadowed is the fact that we have contained the run pretty well since the beginning stretch of the yr. I think it will be a close, ugly game and we will see who comes out on top.
Thanx for signing up and giving us the heads up! Clowns get booted around here often so we appreciated the warning.
No problem. He has been suspended so many times on our boards. I am surprised he still has an account. Anyways I'm excited for this game. A win here and I believe Denver legitimizes themselves as a potential playoff team(thank god we're in the AFC West). I was at the game last year and walked out deflated. That P.I. at the end of the game was a tough pill to swallow. Denver is such a different team now than they were last year that I don't really know what to expect. I think it will be low scoring and the team that has the fewest mistakes will come out on top.
WTF is this thread No one gives a fuck about an H-Back with the ability to throw. They should trade for Brad Smith. He's a better option QB.
Tebow= Kordell Stewart Their is no enigma here the dude can't pass...if we stop the run which we will his start line will be 2-14,18 yds,3 picks & a benching...Brady Quinn will play maybe even before the 4th quarter
Tebow = Kordell Stewart??? Yeah ok. Kordell was agile, Tebow will run you over. Tebow has thrown 7 td's to 1 pick this year. Although I like your secondary, I don't think you will be getting three picks. Tebow is a lot better passer than people give him credit for. He had one bad throw on Sunday. Look at stats all you want but the fact of the matter is Denver dominated its last two opponents on the road. This will be a lot closer than you think.
Tim Tebow made his 2011 home starting debut vs. Lions This was payback time for the fans who forced Elway and Fox to start Tebow. Make no mistake about it; Fox deliberately refused to pound one of the leagues worst rushing defenses, with one of the leagues best rushing offenses. The diaobolical duo sent Tebow into the teeth of the Lions 4th best passing defense, by forcing him to pass it over 40 times, in this just his second start. This was strategy Detroit used to beat the Broncos. How in the hell do you abandon the run after posting 50 yards on the first drive with it, and then leave Tebow hung out to dry with a passing game that only affords him 5 running plays by the RB's in the next 6 drives. Elway and fox intentionally went against the grain to how they ought to have schemed the lions with a QB making his second start of the season, a QB who missed out on TC, Preseason, and 5 of the first games to build any chemistry whatsoever with the receivers. Tebows second start, and EFX is forcing him into over 40 pass plays against the 4th best pass defense in the league? Tebow has had less than half that amount of pass plays in half of the quarters he has started. Ass backwards schemeing at its finest. Then there is Brandon Lloyd factor making highlight reel for the rams rather than the Broncos, this was the No. 1 starter Tebow paid to come to Florida during the offseason to build chemistry with. How much more effort could Elway and Fox have put in to ensuring Tebow fail during his 2011 home debut? That was indeed payback for the fans, coutesy of EFX. It is what it is...
Correct, half of them were deep. There were a lot of drops. He threw one bad throw on a 5 yard pass. The rest were catchable.
Half where deep? LMAO Tebow threw only 2 short passes out of 8. His first three where for 40+ yards. Now how in the hell do you expect your QB to get into any passing rythm when his first 3 are high risk pass plays? When it comes to Tebows completion percentage it is the scheme that folks ought to be making a big to do about, especially when you consider the same scheme gave orton all the high percentage pass plays in the world. I read a Power ranking today that said something along the lines of how the Broncos are winning despite Tebow, yet they where losing without him. Fox the scapegoating coward has placed Tebow in the crosshairs of his scheme, which is acting like a ball and chain to Tebows passing stats. It's not the Broncos who are winning despite Tebow, its Tebow who is winning despite being on a team that won four games in the last 18. Tebow has won four out of his last seven starts. Tebow is winning despite EFX's attempt to shut him down his passing game should be the headlines. We are tyalking about the NCAA Division 1A passer rating record holder here. 20% completion percentage, well that is what starting out the game with 3 passes for over 40 yards will do for ya. Having EFX being the chess master's in controlling the puppet strings with the scheme is really killing the Broncos passing game. Thing is calling out Elway on the Broncos message board is sacriledge, everyone is protecting his laughably overrated legacy. I am glad the Elway alliance showed up for debate... Jagsbch, You are such a clown. "Tebow is winning despite Denver"...Are you serious? How about that defense. Is Tebow willing Von Miller on the sidelines to make plays. The Broncos have dominated the last two weeks because the coaches implemented a scheme to suit Tebows playing style. It is working. Despite what you say, Tebow is a below average passer right now. Having him throw 40+ times a game will never be his style nor should it be. Get off of your knees, wipe your mouth and actually realize that the Broncos want to win. It is not a conspiracy to keep him down.
