If he dresses, he probably won't play a lot tonight because of injury, I hope the Tebots understand.

Where did this injury come from, and why hadn't I heard anything about it? Seems a little strange. Tebow was looking ready to go in the first half.

In the post game presser, Rex said it's two fractured ribs, and it's gotten progressively worse. He said it was during an offensive snap (not PP) during the Seahawks game.

I just checked the "Tebow Zone" video highlight, and didn't really see anything. My best guess would be on one of the passes he threw (incomplete to Kerley) he got hit and landed funny.

So... he had broken ribs... they played him on both special teams and offense the next week... then held him out during a blowout because he was suddenly worse? Did they even have their third string qb dressed today? Seems like a strange way to handle an injury.

And yeah. Nothing in that video showed any rib cracking plays. And he seemed alright the next week, too, so who knows.

Tebow didn't show any sign of injury in the game@Seattle, and the game@St Louis.
Somehow his injury is serious enough to keep him out of any play at all.
    This is funny....

    Something fishy is going on.

Tebow didn't show any sign of injury when he played the second half of the 2009 FSU game with a broken wrist on his non-throwing hand. There are several articles now stating that he was only going to be used in an emergency, like an injury to the starter. That was why he was dressed.

I have a theory. Rex and Tony don't want to waste time on designing plays for Tebow package. Also they don't want disrupt Sanchez's rhythm by switching Tebow in and out. They are tired of this BS. That's why Rex permanently benched Tebow for every possible plays he used to run. The 'broken ribs' stuff is just smoke to cover them from fan's anger.

Tebow better leave this team ASAP. Rex would rather die and burn in hell than playing Tebow and winning ugly.

Sal Pal said that while he was throwing to the Make a Wish foundation kid he had to throw with his right arm because his ribs made it difficult to throw with his left.

Looks like there is no conpiracy theory. :shit:

    What I was thinking.

    Seems kind of like it.

And yet he played last week and was the active back-up today. Doesn't make much sense.

'The indestructible Tim Tebow couldn't has possibly broken his ribs! There is a conspiracy against him!

    Holy shit that's funny.

Tebow can't just leave. After this season, he will still be under contract for another two years. Second string players do not get to demand trades. You'll have to hope the Jets cut him at the end of the season, which looks very likely.

You don't know he has broken his hand and leg before? Don't stuff sh*t into other's mouth. You are funny. Second string player Drew Stanton just demanded a trade this year. Go get some Omega-3. Good for everything.

Drew Stanton demanded a trade, and rightfully so, when the Jets brought in Tebow. Who in the world would want to be on the same quarterback roster with Tim Tebow when there are people like you out there?

And yes, I knew he has broken bones before. He broke ribs in his very first preseason start for the Broncos 2 years ago. But you were the one drumming up some crazy conspiracy theory saying that the Jets were too lazy to write plays for Tebow. You said, and I quote:

Now you're retracting that saying that he could have broken his ribs? You have problems dude.

No matter what, he'll never have as many problems as you do.

For the most part, second stringers do not demand trades. However the Stanton situation was a bit different. He was promised by the Jets front office that he would get playing time if Sanzhez played poorly. The second Tebow was signed, he knew that was out the window, which you need to keep in mind, was less than two weeks after Stanton signed with the Jets. The Colts signed him immediately and gave him the same assurances under Luck. Turns out the Colts have no reason to even consider anyone over Luck.

Regardless, if any team really wants Tebow in the offseason, the Jets will have an opportunity to unload him. If not, he's stuck on the Jets' bench, or will be cut.
