It was this report that has me thinking I'm going to be disappointed...I just don't like the idea of trading up. If they try to get up to Jax's spot, they are going to give up too much.

I heard that he had confirmed that he had explored the opportunity of moving up and moving down, which is standard pre-draft preparation for a GM, i wouldn't get too caught up in this.

Agree, a GM wouldn't be doing his job without exploring all options out there.

I think we're gonna participate in the draft at some level. Whether it's trading our picks for vets or to move up or just sitting on our picks and taking BPA.

Watch 'em throw us a complete curveball and defect from the draft this year altogether. That oughta screw with all those mocks out there.

LOL yea it's funny how you guys go up and down with these reports. GMs a day before the draft say 50 million things and I highly doubt that he is telling you the truth.

I agree, and great point, they will do something during the draft.

He will say 50 million things, but the truth will be amongst the 50 million things said, avoiding it completely would make it too obvious that was what we were going to do. I do believe we will do something that he has said, it just so happens that he has said too much for anyone to know what we are going to do

Trading up for a blocking TE? Ok sure thing, Tannenbaum.

I can see Tanny making the move ALL the way up to #3 and getting Sanchez.

A 1st and 3rd this in this years and a 3rd in next years draft could do it.

going to take more than that imo. there is absolutely no way Washington doesnt outbid that offer. that and if it wasnt a bidding war, it would still cost us more than that to move up 14 slots in the first round.

For us to go from 17 to 3, it would take a minimum of our 1 this year and next year plus another 2nd or 3rd.

Remember the Giants traded 2 #1's to go from 5 to 1 a few years ago, this is a much bigger jump.

I just heard from my sources that the Jets will pick a football player on Saturday and possibly Sunday. I now have my 16th mock draft updated for all to see. I also here the Jets still want Cutler, leftwitch, Edwards, Bolin, Quinn, Campbell, and other receiver or QB with an arm and a leg. THIS JUST IN , the Jets are gonna move up in the draft to see what its like and then move back down so be prepared for a wild day. And sources confirm that the jets staff has orderd Taylor, Egg and Ham's on a hard roll for breakfast. If any one changes to bacon, we will inform you immediately

Rather than waste a 2nd round pick to move up, get Boldin. A 2nd for a proven top #1 WR!

i agree in principle, until we have to pay boldin 10 million dollars a year (AKA richest reciever contract in NFL history i believe)
