The Jets are in no man's land right now. They can't suck badly enough to get the high pick they need and they definitely aren't going to come anywhere near the playoffs. If I had to pick a season that most reminded me of the Jets over the last 6 seasons or so this would be the one so far.

If Rosen is there for them they have to take him, but if he's gone I totally agree with Barkley as Plan B. And even if they did sign Cousins I would want them to take another QB as insurance. But I agree with your earlier post above: I wouldn't bet the ranch on Macc drafting a QB with the first pick - he's "too smart".
I’ve preached BPA for years, but I think when it comes to the first round we’ve drafted plenty defense. I would just be happy if we got a very talented player on offense whether that’s a stud LT, WR, or QB. Not sure why defensive minded head coaches wouldn’t want more talent on offense since they know that they can better coach the defense. Last time we drafted someone reliable in the first round was D’Brick and Mangold..
Agreed. Shame too. The Jets realistically could be (5-2) right now. Instead they are (3-4) and likely dead.
That was enough don't you think. Its obvious he is not progressing enough to even see the field. They gave him the entire preseason and benched McCown and he still sucked agains4rd stringers. Last year every QB was hurt at some point and he never saw any action with the Jets losing badly all season. No better time to stick a bum in than in a tank season. Especially when the offense is playing much better than the defense. So again I ask you why isn't he playing?
