I'm not suggesting if we should draft this guy, but my question is if anyone watched his life story in NFL Total Access? Wow lot's of drama in his life. Very emotional. It's just nice to see that he strived for the better in his life after going through his ungrateful past. He came from Liberia during the time of war, seeing many people murdered right before his eyes. I just want to know what you think, and I wish him the best of luck, whether he wears the green and white or anotehr jersey.
As a PSU grad, this guy does the university proud. Strong character and for a guy who's only been playing football for a few years, he's got tremendous upside. I was disappointed in his workout, but like I said, the game tape doesn't lie and he'll only get better.
I am a fellow PSU alum (just graduated December), Tamba Hali will be an absolute steal if he falls to the 2nd round as many are predicting. If we were still running the 4-3 I would take this guy at 29 in a heartbeat if he was available.
PSU alum '88. Mike Mayock says Hali plays like his hair is on fire. Maybe we should light Bryan Thomas' hair on fire. Love his Teaneck HS coach's motto: "Stick your hand in dirt and GO!"
well, if anything we know from his story that he's a true warrior cuz he has gotten past those troubles and has made the best of the chances he's received. Wish him the best of luck wherever he goes, wouldn't mind it if he's in green-and-white
I saw this guy play at Penn St. for years. I think he's the real deal. Tremendous athletic abilty and one of the toughest characters you'll find.
I think thiss guy is going to be a real player for someone. However, I don't think the 3-4 would be a good fit for him.
Absolutely right, he doesn't have the necessary speed to be an OLB in a 3-4 and sure as hell doesn't have the size for the DE role in that system, but in a 4-3 he's a nice DE.
My wife is a Liberian, and she got out right before the war broke out. We're both pulling for him, watched his story last night.
