No link, and no source actually.

My dad was telling me that his friend had heard something (don't know from where though) that were talks of possibly Milledge and Pelfry for Griffey Jr.

    Anyone else here about this?

Junior doesn't belong in the National League anymore. He's actually a liability in the field, these days. A team the picks him up at this point in his career is getting a bat off the bench, and not much more.

KGJ would most likely veto a trade to the Mets. And besides, that would be a terrible trade for the Mets, trading two of their top prospects for a 37 year old corner outfielder. If they get a bat, it would need to be a righty bat do bat ahead of or behind Delgado, and if they did get Jr. they'd have to somehow trade or push Green to the bench. It's just not necessary and wouldn't even make the team that much better anyway.

Griffey to LF at Shea makes tons of sense to me. Of course it matters what we give back but I wouldn't mind getting him. He's better then Green and Alou.

Oh yeah... and my dad's cousin's sister's dog said his neighbor said we're getting Peavy too.
