Likely, although given he only played 2 plays against the Pats which results in a sack/forced fumble return for a TD he may not need to.

Always hurt? He missed his first NFL game ever when he TORE HIS ACHILLIES, then he was out for the season... came back in high gear and pulled a hammy, he'll be back for the jets game... look out.

The best thing about Spikes was him saying he wanted out of Cincinatti because he was tired of losing...Well Takeo, let's take a look at Buffalo since you arrived there compared to Cincinatti...

    2003 - Buffalo 6-10 Cincinatti 8-8
    2004 - Buffalo 9-7 Cincinatti 8-8
2005 - Buffalo 5-11 Cincinatti 12-4. AFC North Division Champs

I think he meant he was tired of losing money because he got absolutely had by his contract in Cincy... Then he hired Todd France and went to Buffalo.

Imagine Spikes on that Cinci defense now. They'd have him, Simmons, and Odell Thurman. I'd love that LB Corps.

Again, who's won more since he left? He's a great player no doubt, I just have to laugh when players want out of something and it turns to backfire on them...Saying he'd compete for a championship in Buffalo, so far no good.

so they had one winning season in the last 3 years and we had one winning season in the last 3 years whats your point?
plus cinny didnt have to worry about the superbowl champs in there division every year either, or the likes of the dolphins and the jets, who were a lot better than the browns and the ravens.

Your right, Cincinatti has only had to deal with the defending SuperBowl Champs and an excellent Baltimore defense over the last several years. The East was better over the last 3-4 seasons, but now it's clearly the North that is better, for last season and this year at least.

Ok, did you not see MY POINT? I specifically said that I found it funny that Takeo wanted out of Cincy because he was tired of losing...Well, who's done more of the losing, and who's been winning and is much more on the rise? Jeez, how much simpler can I say it?

Bills fans better hope Spikes doesn't suffer the same post-achilles injury plummet that the once great Samuel Cowart did.

well we were a team on the rise, we had the talent, but like you guys had a couple of diks for coaches who ruined our chances. You can now see the difference in both of our teams, they are playing with purpose under a new fresh and much better coaching staff....herm sucked in my opinion i hated him and i thought he did nothing but bring a good team downhill...look what hes doing in KC right now, there 0-2 and had a winning record last year, herm is a cancer, just like MM, and greg williams, they sucked, now both teams could get back to their winning ways...

I don't think Herm totally SUCKS. Is he better suited to be a DB coach or even a coordinator? I'd agree. He picked up a solid team and made the playoffs 2 straight seasons, 3 in 5 years, winning 2 playoff games and a division title. And being a kick away from going to a Championship game, he and Doug Brien get equal blame, a little more to Brien.

His play-calling is bad, clock management and usage of timeouts is horrible. Week 1 their was no excuse for his team, AT HOME not to get in a shootout with Cincy, missing Odell Thurman and Deltha O'Neal. But Herm got in "his way" and got conservative, playing for FGs, not being agressive, and clearly killing the dynamic offense KC had...

Now losing Trent Green is a huge blow...But to be honest, I bet you last weeks 9-6 loss to Denver had Herm happy in terms of a defensive game. That's his dream game, 6-6, 10-7 type games, he loves defensive struggles, so I assume he's happy to be playing games like that...It's ashame, because KC had Superbowl aspirations...

You can't be serious if you think some rookie is going to be one-tenth the player Spikes is. Spikes, when healthy, is one of the best outside linebackers in the AFC(Porter,Merriman)...And you wouldn't care if he came back? He's a difference maker and a freak on the field...

Some people don't like Coles' attitude on here, but I bet none of them would be saying they wouldn't care if he came back...He's a playmaker.

they did, but soon as i heard herm was going there i knew those superbowl dreams were going down the drain. My buddy is a KC fan, and he thought this move was so great, and i laughed at him, and told him how he brought the jets strait downhill, he didnt want to listen ofcourse. All he thought is herm would bring this awesome defense in, and his number 1 offense would take care of biz, and the improved D would get them to the bowl, i told him he was in for a suprise, but he didnt listen. Now he's completely pissed at herm and wishes he never came there.
