trading mccareins for him maybe packaging a pick i mean mccareins is costing less than a mill so he does have his upside to a team in need to get some cap space

Ashley Lelie is as much of a panty-waist as his name implies. I think Santana Moss was tougher across the middle for us in 04 than Lelie has been in his career.

I would, we need someone who can stretch the field, and Lelie's one of the best deep-ball WRs in the NFL.

as someone else alluded to in another thread, we definetely do need playmakers. I dont see it happening, but it would be a good move.

I would offer J-Mac for him straight up, take it or leave it.

Do you know what a Self-Contradiction is?

  10. We already have an underachieving overpaid # 2 WR...why do we need another?

McCareins and Lelie, to me, is a wash. At least McCareins has some possessoin ability. I think this new offense and some actual coaching will do him some good. I don't know how much of that we had under Edwards. I'd rather stick with a known commodity. Plus, Lelie is thought of as kind of a diva from what I hear.

Don't be surprised to see Chris Brown get traded for Ashley Lelie.

    You heard it here first.

He's a one-trick pony who's hyping himself up to be more than he's worth. No thanks.

Lelie doesn't want to work at being a star receiver...he wants it to be handed to him. He doesn't deserve to be in the green and white. End of story.

I'll give them a 7th rounder for him. They have no leverage because Shanahan knows he won't be a Bronco no matter what.
