Tackles or Guards??

    In most cases does the tackles pull or do the guards?

    Guards, and on some teams it's the center

    yeah imagine if the tackle pulled, the whole line would collapse. Also, mostly when a line pulls it is to run outside. You can't pull a tackle all the way across a line to block, he has to protect the backside. You also can't pull a tackle up the middle because it would be too clogged.
