Just say our QB situation worked out and Ramsey ended up coming through for us. I really think the jets could end up being good. Our o-line would be rebuilt through the draft and RB by commitee would work. Our HC is defensive minded and we have very good talent on that side of the ball. So if we stay injury free and certain players pan out i think we are right back in the race.

What i meant to say was our whole QB situation in general. So whether its ramsey or pennington i feel if either one could pan out we could be very competitive.

Ramsey will be the Jets starting QB in game 1. They're not going to start a rookie QB should they draft one, and Pennington is not in Mangini's plans. So Ramsey it is.

Beleive it or not i have a very good feeling about ramsey i think he still has a pretty big upside. Give him protection ,add another tall receiver and he has a O cordinator whos specialty is QB's. I say he could possibly workout.

    Rookie HC
    Rookie GM
    No offensive line

No, I don't think we're Super Bowl contenders, not even with Joe Montana at QB.

I relize theres a lot of question marks but some of these situations have a good chance of panning out.

Competitive...maybe...SB Contenders, sorry champ, not on your life. The stars would have to align and the Mars Rover would have to repair it's own wheel for that to happen. Agree with previous poster...Rookie entire front office and coaching staff and no OL...tall order to fill. Now, if they could pull off some kind of FA pickup on the OL...in a spot or two...then possibly playoffs. But even that is asking alot. Hell, to compete in our own division is going to be insane...Culpepper in Miami! I almost fell out of my seat. Chambers is no Moss....but he is better than what we have (sorry Coles fans)...very scary IMO....

    Peace!

Not SB contenders. Playoff contenders maybe. We don't have bad players really, we just had an unlucky year with a hard schedule. I still think we need a WR and a RB, and an O-line. That's a lot to improve in one season, expecially if you have rookies because they may end up being great but they won't necessarily have outstanding rookie seasons. If we draft well and stay healthy we will put ourselves ina position to be good 2 years from now.
