Meet the Teams. I thought this would interest a few. Colts vs Bears strengths and weaknesses. I couldn't get them side by side so the Colts are listed first then Bears, ect.....

    Offense X-Factor
Marvin Harrison: Chicago's secondary had problems with Steve Smith last year and haven't faced a top-notch WR this postseason. Now they get one of the best ever.

Rex Grossman: It seems with Rex go the Bears. If 'Sexy Rex' can keep away from turnovers and hit the deep receivers, he could open the game up.

    Player to Watch
Peyton Manning: How can you not watch one of the best QBs of the modern era? Manning gets a tough defense in his first Super Bowl, but he is 6'5" with a laser-rocket arm.

Thomas Jones: Jones tore apart the Saints and must be licking his chops at the NFL's worst run D, even though the Colts have looked better.

    Strength
The Colts will look to run the ball with Joseph Addai and Dominic Rhodes against a battered Bears D, but they also have the luxury of Manning to Harrison, Reggie Wayne or Dallas Clark.

Grossman will need to throw the ball downfield in order for the run game to work effectively. If that happens, Chicago can run all over Indy with Cedric Benson and Jones.

    Weakness
Run Game: Addai is the more talented back of the committee that Indy uses, but he is a rookie, very inexperienced, and facing a Bears D that shut down McAllister and Bush.

Rex Grossman: He can be their savior or he could hurt them. Rex has been known to throw up some pretty terrible QB ratings.

    Defense X-Factor
Dwight Freeney: Freeney is the anchor on a defense that will need to stop the run and also get pressure on Grossman, things they have struggled with.

Nathan Vasher: The cornerback had a great game against the Saints, but he will have his hands full with Harrison and Wayne. You won't stop them, but containing them is key.

    Player to Watch
Bob Sanders: Sanders has seemed to rejuvenate the Colts in the postseason. He has racked up 19 tackles in three playoff games, a lot of them helmet jarring ones.

Brian Urlacher/Lance Briggs: The Pro Bowl LBs will be chasing Clark and Ben Utecht around as well as keying on the run. The Bears D only goes as far as they do.

    Strength
Run Defense: The very thing they were laughed at is the reason the Colts are playing in Super Bowl XLI.

Avoiding the big play: The Bears let Bush score on a long pass, but it was early and not game changing. They have done well not letting one play set the tone.

    Weakness
Run defense: Yes, it's their strength and their weakness. The Colts gave up over 170 yards rushing during the season. Any chance of relapse could be disastrous.

Pass defense: Chicago has three good corners who cover well and have a knack for making plays, but they are about to take on a force they haven't seen before

    Special Teams X-Factor
Adam Vinatieri: Mr. Clutch lives for these moments. He is simply the best postseason kicker in the history of the game.

Devin Hester: Hester is an All-Pro returner. He took six kicks back to the house. Every time he touches the ball, something special could happen.

    Player to Watch
Terrence Wilkins: Wilkins had some decent punt returns and has been in the game a long time. He has the potential to reach the end zone.

Robbie Gould: Gould is also an All-Pro and led the NFL in scoring. He hit 32 field goals and has been clutch for the Bears.

    Strength
The Colts have the one man who has ice running through his veins. While Peyton is likely to puke before the game, Vinatieri relishes these moments.

Chicago has no glaring weakness. Their punter has been fantastic, Hester has been a Godsend and Gould has turned himself into a top kicker.

    Weakness
While he has taken a punt to the house this year, Wilkins has also coughed the ball up a few times and his return averages aren't great.

Too many times we have seen Hester bobble, juggle or just straight out fumble the ball. There is no room for error in the Super Bowl.
