I hope the Rams win however I discovered a disturbing trend: After the Jets beat the Patriots in the divisional round, they have not lost in the divisional round since. After the Broncos beat the Patriots in the Championship round, they have not lost in the championship round since. If the trend continues the Patriots will never lose another Super Bowl since they lost to the Eagles last year. The Patriots have gone parabolic, at 11-5 they look even better than previous years.
Highest over/under ever for a Super Bowl, now sitting at 58 or 59. Guess we should not plan on watching much defense. Also weird that after an opening line of Rams -1, a ton of money reversed it to about Pats -1.5 in less than ten minutes.
Your trend kinda loses sense when you realize that they Patriots lost the championship round against the Ravens and the next year they lost to the Broncos. Then they won and then lost to the Broncos again so… I see your point but nah, they’re not winning.
I'm planning other activities on SB Sunday so I'll just take a pass on this one. If the Saints were in it, I'd watch. Since they got robbed by the Refs, oh well....
Cmon.... you know you're gonna watch! But I'll admit, this year may be the least interested in the SB I've ever been
I'm not even turning this shit on. Taking a nice hike with Henry the Dog and watching a horror movie through the entire thing. I was already invited a couple of days ago to three different friend's houses. Not going. Can someone please expose this now laughable charade? I used to think that people who thought this shit was fixed despite the obvious favoritism were this side of paranoid. I'm not so sure about that anymore. This has officially turned into the 1918 World Series.
I've been thinking about getting an apartment in NYC again and spending 6 months a year. Last night I realized Tom Brady lives in NYC. Fuck it I'm staying out west. Go Rams. In the Bud light bowl I'm rooting for the alcoholic who's been dry for 20 years.
But but but but but the Pats are under dogs and nobody believes in them. How could this be? I'm more convinced then ever the NFL is fixed. Thus i present the one true GOAT
I live in the Boston area (hopefully for I'll be leaving in this calendar year and moving back home to the tri-state area) and I'm going to be doing my best to avoid everything I can involving this crap. Was bad enough with the Red Sox this year.
I don’t trust Goff for shit. Only way the Rams pull this one off is if Suh, Donald, Brockers, and Fowler can get after Brady for an entire 60 minutes.
like the van noy knee shot last night. heres another guy who must be on the tb12 program like pedelman, pretty good player at byu, not much of anything at detroit, comes to patriots and all of a sudden his game gets 10x better. there comes a point when you have to question this sort of stuff. guys go there, they are great, they leave they are normal players. even with bill knowing what plays are coming 80 percent of the time because of his spying these guys still improve at far too drastic a rate. why does it not follow when the coaches who coach these guys to be so good go elsewhere? its not like belli is coaching every guy all the time. the assistants are the ones who prepare them.
I think the Rams can win the game but I wouldn't bet on it happening. IF Donald, Suh and Wade Philips can shut down Brady enough, get some turnovers like the Chiefs did and Goff & Gurley don't choke.
