Yes, yes..the Jets need to win.

But, here are games I think we should keep an eye and who I think we should root for:

    Cleveland at Miami

    No brainer. Go Browns

    Pittsburgh at Baltimore

I am really leaning for Pittsburgh. We still have to play Pitt, and we already lost to Baltimore. Any tie breaker scenerios would favor a Ravens loss here.

And for once in week 13 I can say " Who gives a shit about the rest of the games!"

JAX at TEN is a pretty interesting game with playoff/wildcard implications. Then again, the Jets will cruise to at least a wildcard barring collapse.

well we need kansas city to start loosing some games. The jets will have to win two more games to lock up a playoff spot. otherwise kansas will need to loose i think 2 games. also Jags will need to loose some games (or colts but thats more unlikely) i think the jags need to loose 1 for us to atleast make wildcard.

do the playoff generator thing on ESPN.com
the way i did it was have the jets loose every game the rest of the way except the bills or bears game. i tried both and looked at the scenarios. It looks pretty good for us basically. the only problems for us in terms of making the playoffs would be if kansas wins almost all of there games, they have a pretty easy schedule so its not impossible.

Root for the Jags - still got to think they can keep the Colts out
Root for KC - I still think they can keep San Diego out (even though we have had success against them)

Those are two the most dangerous quarterbacks in the AFC and could be sitting the post season out.

very true, it only makes our lives easier if Manning and Rivers get left out of the postseason.

Also root for Pitt and cleveland. If we are to lose to NE, its actually better for us if Balt wins this game. Because then we have the better shot at the 5 seed, which will likely pit us against the AFCW winner who I actually think is going to be KC. Which is a very good matchup for us. Since I still think Indy will make the playoffs by winning the South, I don't want to play them in the first playoff game at all

I really hope Jax can win that division.

I have no hope that KC will keep SD out, though. SD is going to win that division.

No doubt in my mind that San Diego wins that division. The rest of their schedule is a cake walk.

i think its pretty much a given that rivers and manning will win enough games to win their divisions.

i agree with not wanting those quaterbacks in the playoffs but realistically they will prob win and we will need to secure our spot .

The Miami Cleveland game is like getting kicked in the nuts with a steel toed boot, except getting kicked in the nuts with the steel toed boot is more fun.

I disagree - SD will have at least one slip up even though there schedule is cake- KC is in the drivers seat.

Colts are dangerous but nowhere near the team they have been in the past.

Indy and SD both will not make it in. I think Jags win the south but I would not be shocked if KC holds on.

This season is not about just making the playoffs - if we have to worry about other teams losing to secure a spot in the dance - we are in deep trouble anyway. So I do not give a shit about wildcard tie breakers.

Reality is we will make the playoffs one way or another and having the best path to the big game is to our advantage.

    Root for Oakland too.

Worse pick for the pats. And I don't want to see the chargers win the division with the way they're playing. Chiefs or the raiders are a much Better matchup.
