Missed the Jets. Missed my miserable love. Like a battered wife, I end up going to my love every Sunday. Missed green and white. Missed the Jets chant. Missed seeing Metlife green. Now that weekend started, all I can think off is Sunday and being 3-3 @joe - Question for you. We are 2-3. What happens if we win?
Should Brook! hit on that Jets concession worker? It might make him feel crummy. Haha, that pervert DanR actually posted a couple of weeks ago, but no updates about his.stalking attempts on a teenager.
I feel you, just can never shake that feeling. Honestly, despite a nice win last week, I still can not stand Todd Bowles brand of football and I know I am not alone on that. I had a discussion with a close friend of mine who is a Jets fan and we both agreed Bowles brand of football is UNBEARABLE to watch. I hate to say it, but I fully expect a big limp dicked loss this weekend that Todd is prone to providing us. I can't wait til we have a new head coach, it would take a playoff appearance this year to make me feel otherwise. I want to feel excited about this team again, but I just can't right now. However, I am extremely anxious for sunday and pray that I am proven wrong. I would love to eat crow and look like a fool about this. I hope my gut is wrong. Go Jets.
Colts are going to be very tough for us this week. They have a couple quick and shifty receivers which we have not fared well against this season. Both of the games we have won were won with a pass rush. Colts have a top 5 Oline against the pass rush and only allow sacks on less than 5% of passing plays. This is easily a game we can flop on with a poor defensive game plan. Id expects a bunch of Lee/Adams/CB blitz's this week to compensate. I know Bowles is the easy blame here but it will come down to the players executing. Darnold, as usual, will need a few chances to get it right we all know he's still learning. Our defense will need to keep Luck off the field early to get the W here.
This Sunday's game has been creeping on my brain like a disease all week. So I've had a minor relapse, but I'm basically over my Jets addiction and I'm definitely going to quit again soon. I can just like, stop whenever I want.
We are at a crossroads with this game. Win it, and we are 3-3 and potentially tied for the AFC East lead if things break our way going into a very winnable game against Minnesota. Lose and we are 2-4 needed to turn things around quickly to have a shot. Let's find a way to win this one. This team seemed dead in the water at 1-3, but now that the Darnold to Robby connection has been established, anything is possible. That three game skid made no sense with all the mismatches we have at WR. I hope we continue to use that to our advantage this week. Deep to Robby, 50/50 balls to Pryor, and let Quincy be Quincy. Go Jets.
Guys. Kindly asking. And this is probably my last nice warning. Leave the goat jokes to BS Forum. This is the Jets forum for God’s sake.
Vikings game won’t be easy. But we are the Jets. Master of heart break. Will probably lose to Colts and win against Vikings. 1 day to go. Can’t wait. Great weather, great tailgate and I hope it ends with a great win.
I think we lose this game. So much comes down to QB play and Luck is way better than Keenum. Sam is better than Keenum, lol, but definitely not better than Luck. Plus, we will have 2 starting dbs out. On top of that, it just feels like the type of game the jets lose... Coming off an unexpected win that lights that little flame of hope. Here's where they blow it out again. Best if we just internalize the loss right now so it hurts less tomorrow.
I’m calling out sick from work tomorrow just so I can see if this team is about to turn the corner. If they show the same MO they have been these last couple of years I’m going to watch from afar until the end of the season and hope changes are made. @Brook! how is the lifestyle change coming along?
