May I take a break from the usual "jets" talk, and just point out how much I enjoy seeing the Dolphins flounder? Myself and a couple others posted on this board in the offseason not to buy into the Miami hype (six straight wins at the end of last season!). We posted that the Fins were overrated, and that the jets almost beat the Fins late last year in Miami playing Bollinger, Jolley, and Houston. For once, one of my predictions proved accurate and the Fins stink in 2006. I'm loving it! I laughed at Super Bowl hype of the Dophins playing in the Super Bowl this year in front of the home crowd. I'm actually GLAD the Fins came back on the jets last week and then lost when Mare missed the field goal--it made it that much sweeter. My brother-in-law used to be a "ball boy" for the Fins and he constantly brags them up. Who's' laughing now? GO JETS!
hahaha. probably with the other Phin - and for that matter 'Skin - fans, making excuses (i.e. blaming refs, the turf, and whatever else) why their teams suck. "later." cheers
I don't have so much of a problem with Phin fans anymore, although they are bit-time homers in many cases, but I just hate their team so much. Something about Marino made me hate every successive player that has held the spotlight for the Phins. It made me hate Feidler when he was a Jet. I just hate their players SO MUCH. Bunch of rumpswabs.

Wrong answer. We need to revel in it when other division rivals suck. Historically, we're usually the laughing stock of the NFL, now at least, we have someone else to laugh at (including the bills we have others to laugh at). Stop being so negative, and as George Patton said: "God grant my enemies mercy, because I sure won't". Think about it.
Wallowing in sorrow and shame no doubt. I guess this would be pre-server crash, but it would be cool to dig up some of the threads from last year around the time we played the Phins to see how they gloated.
It was the way he had convinced himself to the point where he actually believed the Dolphins were better than the Jets that got me. :rofl:
One of my most hated teams but karma baby karma .We've got every force in the universe working against us year after year lets not add another one.
I lived through a couple of decades where Don Shula was on the competition committee and for whatever reason, the Dolphins never ever had a bad season. They were always in the playoffs, always got the crucial calls, always had a few home MNF games in December, rarely traveled north late in the year, I could go on and on. What comes around goes around, I waited forever for them to even go 4-12, which we seem to do every few seasons. Fuck Miami. They can't lose enough to make me happy. Let them suck for another 20 years for all I care, they have it coming.
I called him out directly and when I told him he is just one of those fans that wouldnt show his face if the phins did nothing this year..he hit me with a very long story how he was a member way before me..and blah blah blah...he would be here. Well guess what..usually I dont care..but in his case..with his rants..and his destroying the Jets...I do. He was...and always will be..a fake and a fraud..and Im looking forward to the day he decides to show up here again.
