a) Holmes, the King of DI calls needs to polish even more his "I've been held again" routine. He is good for at least 35 yards of calls in our favor from the refs in home games b) I'm not a fan of the Tebow " in and out" schemes but for Pete sakes IF we use him can we use him in a way to maximize his strengths instead of the decoy role. Use him as a full back/TE in red zone plays and let him throw at least a couple of times to make it real. c) Hello defense. Everyone is shitting all over Rex but where is his favorite son Pettine? He needs to step up the gains by a bunch and figure out schemes that minimize the exposure of our slow and weak LB core. What needs to be done different to stop the run? If we cannot stop the run effectively on all 3 downs we will be forever doomed and slaughtered by better running teams. Im less worried about the pass defense even without Revis. d) Ok, agree that Sanchez needs to step up his consistency and avoid his occasional poor judgment lapses, but for the love of God can we get his supporting cast to do their job, like catching, and running through holes, etc e) Since we fired our strength and conditioning coach for "tripping" the number of nagging injuries beginning in training camp has been staggering in my mind compared to other years. Whoever the new guy is needs to make the conditioning program stronger. F) Finally, it's time to give McKnight and Powell a bigger role. Bring in Green to brutalize the line after we soften them up.
