    Hypothetical question here.

Let's say all the top tier players and Gholston are off the board before we pick AND we cannot find a suitable trade down opportunity. Who do you pick?

I choose Keith Rivers because I love his versatility and playmaking ability. He has the size despite what people think at 6'2" 240 and the ability to take on and shed blocks as a 3-4 ILB. He can be our 3-4 version of Vilma.

EDIT: Is there anyway to add more options to the poll? I clicked submit too early and want to add some more options.

no question to me, glen dorsey / sedrick ellis. They are the Best Player's available at the position BY FAR. TEams must draft BPA unless there is a dire need at another position. Ellis and Dorsey can help on the d-line. They have the size to play 3-4 DE. None of the other players are even close to worth the sixth overall pick.

    Yea...none of the above...Mendenhall/Stewart.

The CBs: I'm not sure either is worth a top 10 pick.

The DTs: I'm not sure either fits the system.

Rivers: I'm not sure I buy him as a 3-4 ILB. I like guys like Lofton, Goff, or Wheeler more.

Clady: A watered down version of D'Brick.

But in the next month+ we have no idea who'll rise/fall.

I like Rivers. I too think he is good enough to play ILB. He is good tackler and leader, USC LBs are always good picks. Him and Harris, plus Jenkins- no one will able to run on us.

If the Jets were to pick a CB, I would think they would pick DRC. I think he has a much greater upside as he hasn't played football all his life and Mangini would surely recognize this.

Gotta go Dorsey.....But CB is greatest team weakness & Mike Jenkins seems like the best CB in draft. DE/DT/NT or OT in 2nd round.

CB is not the greatest weakness on this team, QB is. Which brings up an interesting thught. What if Ryan falls to 6 and the other 5 are all gone. Do the Jets take him? They only have 2 signed right now. I'm not sure he is a top 10 pick but he is the best in this years class.

He wont drop to 6, but if he does the jets better grab him.

If dorsey is there at six I dont see why they would take him, having signed Jenkins, and with Pouha and Brown and D-Rob still on the roster. Plus, I think his injury is significant and may impair his productivity.

If they cant get either of the Longs, or Gohlston, then trade the pick.

It really depends on what Atlanta decides to do this year at QB and whether or not they will wait for Vick to get out of jail. If they go a different way he should be there at 6.

It also depends on what the fish do. We dont know how much Parcells likes him. If they think he could be a franchise QB, I wouldnt be shocked if they take him. they have no QB.

If Rivers can play ILB, than I'd go with him...

Why would we draft Matt Ryan?
