I feel like in all the past few games he gets injured and you don't know if its serious or not, but everytime he comes right back in.

It's a long season. Much longer than the NCAA version.

That said it's possible he has a nagging injury that keeps getting tweaked. He is one tough mofo though because his play has been rock solid all season.

After he came back, the few times they showed him you could see him grimacing a little bit. I have a feeling he'll be on the injury report and may miss some practice. But i hope not.

I was horrified when I saw what happened to Nick yesterday. He is such a trooper, and definitely deserves a chance to be Rookie of the Year. What big shoes he had to fill and has done it like a seasoned veteran. The next 10-12 years with him at center is going to be fun to watch. Thankfully he didn't get seriously hurt. He needs to manhandle Wilfork on Sunday!

Jets really ended up getting the best of that 3 way deal.

I was glad when the Jets picked him. When I saw him for the first time in uniform though I was a little nervous because he looked undersized to me for a center... I guess comparing him to Mawaee will do that to anyone... But what a tough kid and a gamer!!! IMO this turned out to be the best pick of the entire draft based on the risk of getting rid of a talent like Abe... It turned up all roses for us which is a rarity in Jets drafts

He's bigger than Mawae. Mangold is 300 lbs and Mawae is 290

Oh yea by far.....dont know if u watch the game yesterday but the commentators were saying that Warren Sapp was really giving him praise.....i think thats huge for a rookie...especially from Sapp he's a gamer 2

He deserves a lot of credit, even though the line as a whole doesn't run block very well. He gets a TREMENDOUS push on opposing defensive lineman, it's our inability to have a lead blocker come through and drive a linebacker out of the hole, whether it's a fullback or a pulling guard. He put Sapp in another defenders gap all day long.
