Randy Moss...not this year. Welker...eh, he can be trouble. Matt Cassell...please.

There's one guy that makes the Pats go...and it's Kevin Faulk. He hides in the shadow of the marquee players...he's not on anybody's fantasy roster...but he's there everytime the Pats need a 3rd down...everytime they need a momentum changer...everytime the defense forgets about him.

Obviously, Cassell has gotten better, and Moss is going to take Revis out of the picture, but the Jets need to pay a little more attention to Faulk.

I'd like to Rhodes make his bones this week shadowing and shutting down Faulk.

I think Kevin Faulk is probably the most underrated player in the league. That said, the Pats offense does not revolve around one guy and it never has. If you take Faulk out of the picture they will find other ways to successfully attack you. I have no doubt about that.

I worry more about Green-Ellis. He is a really tough as nails pounder.

It does suppries me that the Pats come into the game with the 7th best rushing attack in the league. They are known more for using the short pass then running the ball. I'm still more concerenrd about short routes and screens then the run. We've played well against the run all year.

That's a good point..the guy is giving them a threat they haven't had since Corey Dillon's early years.

To Harpua's point as well, I think the game will be played within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage (which could help with keeping an eye on Faulk), but that means the corners are going to be soloing on the wide outs and you know Belichick is going to want to try and get Moss going. It's a tough nut.

Faulk is just a piece of a bigger issue. To stop the Pats, you have to stop the screen. They are living and dying by the screen right now because that's all Cassel is capable of, especially because he's often under pressure. Make sure there is always a man on Faulk and on Welker to prevent the screen pass and we should be solid.

Pretty much, it amazes me that he's always open........ALWAYS! Also we have to watch out for Gaffney, that's another guy that always seems to be open.

Kevin Faulk has become a notorious JET killer.
The fact that Sutton has yet to put some kind of spy on him during the game just baffles me.

I’m more worried about the ineptitude of our coaching staff than any player on the Pats.

Faulk wasnt even a factor in their win over Buffalo. It was all Green-Ellis

He kept many drives alive, I consider that a HUGE factor.

Faulk is like their version of what Chrebet was for us... Mr. Clutch. And he has always been a Jet-killer. I hate him.

What makes the Pats' Offense tick is theirO-line - 3 Pro Bowlers. Seems like all the skill position players w/ the exception of Moss and Welker are pretty much interchangeable. They haven't missed a beat even though they are missing their 1st, 2nd and 3rd string RB's!!! And they are making Matt Cassell look like a damn good QB.
