Just read that he is practicing with the team for the first time this week and could be in the lineup this week for the Pats game.If he can go we are gonna be seriously deep at RB.....do you think we keep all 4 on the roster? It would be a tough call on who to cut between Powell and Stacy...Powell has been inconsistent this season http://nypost.com/2015/10/19/stevan-ridleys-jets-debut-could-be-his-revenge-game/
Ridley is on the short term IR list, he's not eligible to play until after week 8, so wherever you heard that was complete bullshit.
ridley was placed on the p.u.p. which means he wasn't eligible for return until week 6. millner is short term i.r.
Then I guess he is, because the rule on the short term IR is pretty well known and that's exactly what Ridley was designated.
Don't like the idea of keeping 3 RB's behind Ivory.. none that are good at catching the ball. Originally thought Stacy would be the first gone but won't be surprised if Powell would be the guy. If Ridley turns out to better than either one of them that is.. Judging from his tattoo he believes he's firmly safe.
They aren't keeping Stacey if Ridley comes back healthy. They're already carrying a worthless fullback.
I don't think there's a question that Ridley is better. The only question about Ridley is will he continue having fumbleitis?
Hate to say it but I'm thinking the same thing more and more each week. I though to start the season he looked slimmer and faster and was making cuts and not just running downhill. But he seems to be the same plodding straight ahead guy. _
I'm not sure. I considered this, but then for shits and giggles, decided to google "overblown" and got the following: Personally, I find it hard to believe Ridley's issue was overblown having come from the Patriots.
I could get behind this idea. We should use Ivory as much as we can against the Pats but the pecking order of our backup rbs could sort itself out against the Raiders, Jags and Bills with the least effective runner being cut when Enunwa returns
