I hadn't heard that. If true, while good for Jets, it would be kind of a letdown as far as game highlights, the Jenkins vs. Jackson matchup was looking real intriguing.
he didnt practice at all today, and haslett said that if he didnt have a full day of practice this week, he wouldnt play at all.. just chalk him up to the list of injured players.. Week 1-none Week2- Brady Week3 Merriman Week 4- Berry Week 5- bye Week 6- Palmer Week 7- burgess Week 8- LJ Week 9- Schobel/Reed Week 10-S Jax?
good because he's an amazing back. without him it'll be a lot easier for a guys to key on everyone else.
I saw on ESPN News that Kenneth Darby will be the starter for St. Louis this week. He was just signed off of the Falcon's practice squad.
Avery and Holt are solid receivers but both having sub-par seasons. With Jackson out that really hurts the Rams. The Jets can make them one-dimensional. Defensively their corner Atogwe is very good, but the Rams like to give up huge yardage on the ground and air and they allow lots of points. Bust them apart with TJ and Leon and use the short passing game to limit Favres pick 6's.
If he is not 100% he won't play. Not even 90%. Haslett wants him totally healthy. This is good for Jenkins and crew. Now the task is to stop Avery and Holt. One dimensional teams don't win much. So this shouldn't be a loss.
