Stephen A said something very similar about the Jets last year. He's like the opposite of a kiss of death, whatever you call that.
After the first 30 seconds I honestly thought he was going to be crying, tearing at his cloths and beating his chest by the end of the video.
This would've been bold if he said it before they actually played a game. Its clear to anyone who has watched them regularly that they are just not a good team. Its laughable that Jerry Reese still has a job. But in that division they could go 7-9. I cant wait to see them play San Fran and Seattle.
Supposedly they say Nassib is a better fit for that style of offense. But then I also saw reports during the preseason that his roster spot was in jeopardy. I would be absolutely shocked if Eli is pulled at any point this season though. Crazy that pulling a "Hall of Fame" QB would even be an option though.
Dont know. I dont think he belongs in the hall of fame unless you argue that the superbowls can get him in. Idk
Probably. I love Eli but he isnt the most consistent QB in the world. Isnt the best QB in the world either but he is a very good QB who can tear up any defense when he is on, and he is clutch. Any QB who can get the job done at crunch time is good in my book. If we do decide to get rid of Eli, we need to make sure that we draft a replacement and develop him the right way. Can't do half assed shit. If Nassib is for real, let him play next year but only IF they gey rid of Eli. Eli has at least earned that. Superbowl QBs don't grow on trees
When he was on during the 2011 season he was unstoppable. I'll give him complete credit for that season because it was probably his only above average season in his career. Although he was real good in 08 before Plax shot himself too. As for Nassib I havent seen enough of him to know if he can be a legit NFL starter. I guess once they move on from Eli he could get a shot if he waits that long. IMO Eli isnt going to be out of there until atleast after next season.
I agree. If he is on he is unstoppable but when he is off, he blows bad. He needs a good O line Idk if Nassib can start either but i do know that he made some noise in preseason. I'm not a big preseason guy but he was great with this offense in preseason.
I agree with your first paragraph. As for the second, I think if this season starts out like last season they pull Eli. If the Giants are sitting at 0-3 or 0-4 again they'll have to.
Be nice to get some O line help. We draft a receiver in the 1st round and he gets injured. Kid didnt have an injury his whole college career, he gets one now. Fuckin shitty luck. I like Beckham too but a lineman would look good right now
