Hope he'll be OK. Having trouble wrapping my mind around the idea of being shot twice in the head, but he's stable and it's non-life threatening!?

Sounds like Baily has been hanging out with a dangerous crowd.

I'll never understand why these athletes that were raised in the hood continue to go back..makes no sense to me.

Really? How about that's where his friends and family still are? Is that really so difficult to comprehend.

And look where that got him.

Is it so difficult to comprehend that there are people in those neighborhoods that put actual bounties on people's heads? Gang initiations etc.

    Step out of your bubble

Do some research on some NFL players. Most of their families use them to the point of them being broke while still playing in the league.

    Spare me this nonsense please.

You're right. What kind of idiot hangs around his friends and family during the holidays.

You strike me as someone who is extremely familiar with hood relations. What's the going rate for a bounty on an NFL player's head these days? For us ignorant guys still living inside our bubbles.

He was there cause he was suspended from the team.

Plus my question wasn't meant to be taken literally. I know why people go back to their hometown, obviously.

    Doesn't mean it's a good idea.

You don't need to be familiar with "hood relations" to understand there are dangerous people in those areas.

Thinking something is a bad idea and having no understanding of how that thing happens are two radically different things.

Stedman Bailey clearly would have been a lot smarter to spend his suspension time off visiting with the Rotary in Larchmont.

You were saying something about a bubble? Does that remind you of the one that was depriving you of oxygen when you were little?

You need to be familiar with it to smugly tell people to "step out of their bubble".

Your posts in this thread are of the most ignorant sort.

I don't disagree with that. But every player who from the hood should stop going to see family and friends because there some who do that? Plus that the player fault for allowing them to do it.
