Stats to ponder...

    Are National League strikeout stats distorted because the pitcher has to hit?

    Tough to say. I guess pitchers in the NL might be bunting more, while in the AL they are swinging away. Thats one for the computer.

    all the stats from american to national league are off.....i dont think you can really say its easier to get k's in one league or the other yadda yadda because there are so many different factors. its two totally different leagues and style of play

    yes they are and as a result its much easier to pitch in the national league.
