I'm not insinuating he is going to be the starter, but it is nice seeing he seems to be understanding it better. Just wanted to post this LOL
Lol - people are already taking offense to it. Sanchez never said anything in that article. Should be an interesting competition.
I have no.doubt Sanchez can pick up the system no problem, most humans are capable of learning things. The question is can he make good decisions under duress and put the ball where it should go.
good for him... can he make accurate and smart throws under pressure in tight coverage? thats what he needs to practice more than anything. oh and not fumbling.
We need receivers to know the system as well and run the right routes, at the right depth. It's not all on Sanchez despite what so many of the people on here think.
Every offseason we get these type of articles about Sanchez. Forgive me if I don't get excited until it translates on the field.
it never ends. i remember the annual "pennington working on arm strength" report. he still couldn't throw the deep out
I really want Sanchez to kick ass, but he hurt me too many times. I don't know if I can trust him again. I'm sorry, but I want a new QB. I'm scared he might hurt me again if I give him my heart one more time....
Yup. My feelings exactly. I sort of want to see him succeed so he can shut all of us up, but I doubt it will happen. Time to move on it seems
I can actually believe this. Sanchez played well in the WCO at USC. The thing is, Sanchez might already be doomed and perhaps too late for him to come back.
Unfortunately. Now an argument can be made if this is his fault or not, but I don't have time for that. I want my QB to have some passion and to perform despite of adversity.
Wasn't it last year that he was working with Pennington learning the Sparano system? The real question is can he continue his consistency of putting up 18 int's three seasons in a row - under 3 different coordinators?
We can, however, put the "lazy" speculation following 2011 to complete rest. Remember when Mehta's sources told him the team thinks he's lazy? Lol, no. He just isn't very good.
