9/30/2006 Irish Battle Past Boilermakers Brady Quinn throws for 316 yards, two touchdowns in 35-21 victory. Brady Quinn threw for 316 yards and two touchdowns and Darius Walker ran for 146 yards as Notre Dame played its best offensive game of the season and beat Purdue 35-21 on Saturday. The 12th-ranked Fighting Irish withstood a big day by Curtis Painter and the Boilermakers' offense. Painter was 23-for-46 for 398 yards and Selwyn Lymon had eight catches for 238 yards - the second most by a Purdue receiver and the most ever by an Irish opponent. After all that does Stanford have a better chance than Purdue to come in and try an upset?
Stanford is just a horrible horrible football team this year. They haven't held any team to less than 30 points, so this game should be over by halftime.
Very nice game today. Quinn looked good. His WR's looked good. Walker was kicking ass. The god damn defense needs to get it together if they want to win the remainder games this season. 5-1
