Spiller has that speed that Powell and Forte lack.Atleast he used to anyway...Could be a good move if his workout looks good.

Spiller hasn't looked like Spiller in 2-3 years. He's completely lost his game. Worth bringing in for a workout but he doesn't have it anymore and that's obvious.

Rather get Marcel Reece as a great lead blocking FB who can not only run the rock but also catch out of the backfield. 4x Pro Bowler throughout the past 4 seasons. For a FB he's still only 31 years of age.

Our offense lacks an ability to run the ball with physical dominance. A lead blocking FB would go a long ways for Matt Forte when inside the 10 yard line. Damn do I wish we could've got our hands on Tony Richardson 5 years prior.

Serving a 3 game suspension and eligible to return October 2nd. ASJ has been given a chance why not a stud FB?

Yea, I don't know why they got rid of Bohanon. He was a decent FB, and we could use him now by the looks of things. We can only run against someone who can't defend against it, or so Gaily seems to think anyway.

I would really like that signing. Might be able to block as an in line tight end also.

that's debatable ... i'd agree with this for pre-2015 Powell... that dude picked up some serious burners out of nowhere last year..

They got rid of Bohanon because he sucks. He can't run the ball and is a mediocre blocker.

Gailey trying to get the 2011 Buffalo offense back together. Good thing most of them aren't playing anymore so it will be easy.

I feel like this isnt nearly as big a deal as the original post is acting like it is.

Teams work guys out all the time.

  17. Even if he's a lost a step..I'll take him over Pope as the #3 Back any day of the week. W/ only Powell & Forte..you hold your breath every time they take a hand off. That isn't a good thing for a run first cold weather team.

This guy can give you a few valid carries a game in the rotation, he catches balls out of the backfield & who knows..maybe he recaptures the magic reuniting w/ Chan. If not...3rd string Rbs are a dime a dozen.

In the case of Spiller, I was wondering what specifically they planned to use him for, backup for Forte or
st guy...in the case of Jenkins, I don't see why they would look at him at all, despite the need for a TE.

Spiller and Reece the roider no thanks. Pope is better, we do need to dump Jalin from returns and possibly the whole team. Pope can take the kick returns.
