C for completing passes. He looks very much like a tired old QB who's broken down over the years and can't bring his A game, or even the B one most of the time.
I'm going with a C as well. In terms of being a field general, he's an A, even now. In terms of physical ability, he's barely a D the majority of the time. Putting them together as a whole package, he neither improves nor makes the team any worse.
C Chad consistently confabulates consistency. Then on the field it seems to be a crapshoot each week.
......its all been said before , supporting cast etc.... getting rid of Kendall was a monumental mistake and I'm not saying the whole O hinged on that decision , but the oline last year looked better than this years. Put Chad in the Pats O or similar with a decent O line and see a winner.
C he's throwing touch down's and puting up splendid Stats , but the bad decision making keeps him from making a B- and the lack of down feild throw from a B+ . Sorry Chad you in danager of being left back this year.
B- for being the leader of the offense. Chad played well in the first half of the Patriots game and after his injury he led the team down the field for an epic touchdown to Coles, led the team to a victory vs. Miami and played okay vs. the Bills. Being OUT one week dropped him from a B to a B- for me.
D - His throws looked better last year around this time. He never seems to look for anything with distance, and this lack of a complete game will give any defense, even inferior ones, all they need to beat him easily. A below average YPA and all I can give him is a D. I'm quickly losing patience for this nonsense. It's like watching a boxer who does nothing but bounce around and throw a few jabs every now and then. Low risk/Low reward.
I think Chad's lack of an ability to make big plays represents the team's dismal performance in general more than his own. C for being individually decent but not doing enough to lift the team up when it needed it most.
