...........and Jets fans may not like this, but when Tebow came into the game, the Jets got a brief jolt of energy. He came in and immediately was able to move the ball. Do you think the Jets should have put Tebow out there for some more plays?

I was hoping they'd go no huddle w/it. Once they had the 6 yard loss on 1st down we had to bring in an NFL QB.

I don't think Tebow is allowed to have a miked up headset.

I think they should have done that and run no huddle with it.

That 6 yard loss was a drive killer, he actually does have a mic'd helmet but it can only be turned on when he plays QB. How the NFL knows I have no idea but they mentioned it last week in the Buffalo game.

My whole stance has always been, I don't give a flying F who is QB as long as the O moves the ball. Tebow did that but once they lost those 6 yards hard to keep him in there.

Not crazy. The conventional running game (entire offense, actually) couldn't get a first down after the opening drive.

even with the 6 yard loss they should have kept him out there. i've seen tebow scramble for 1st downs on 2nd/3rd and longs.

definetly should have. nothing else was working, the change could have sparked some momentum. what the hell is he here for? he came in and we got 2 big gains right away. But the Jets always seem to go in the other direction of anything that worked perviously

No it was fine until he gave it to Greene to run outside, Tebow should have kept it bad decision making

Too bad Tebow didn't keep the ball on that loss of 6. He had space to the left. Also, to the OP, why would Jets fans not like Tebow bringing a jolt of energy to the offense? That line made no sense to me.

Agreed. If I didn't know any better I would've sworn Schotty was calling the plays today...

the playcalling wasn't the issue, the plays weren't being executed.

ala whenever schotty called plays that weren't executed well.

Him bringing a spark of energy was good. Too bad the team couldn't capitalize after that loss of 6 run. Now are you suggesting Tebow should have replaced Sanchez for the rest of the game? Fans would not want that, but a few more plays here and there, sure.

I'm not saying for the whole game, but on that drive, maybe Tebow could have put something together and got the team at least within field goal range.

    This ^^^^^^^^^

I mean what is he in NY for ? Granted he is not the starter but one drive to try and gain momentum , just one drive , it obviously could not have hurt .

Seeing the way Sanchez was so ungrounded after getting clocked, we definitely should have seen a few more Tebowcat plays.

Why don't the Jets turn Tebow into a running back? He appears to be a much better runner than anyone else the Jets currently have at that position. He could also throw the HB option pass on occasion. Just bringing him here to screw with Sanchez' mind was a bad idea. After last season, Sanchez was already a semi-basket case to begin with.

Keep Rex, but dump the Front Office. Sadly, there is no other solution to this perennial mess.

Yes it could have. They were down 10 at that point?

I think they don't really have Tebow plays in for the 2nd and 15 scenario. Everytime they have used the Tebowcat, it has been 10 yards to the marker or less. They definitely don't feel comfortable letting Tebow run the normal offense either. So yes, it could have hurt a lot, especially since they were sitting at 2nd and 15 at this point.

If they were down 30+ you have a point, but 10 points is winnable.
