I was ticked off with some of D'brick's penalties, but as a whole I thought they did a good job. I thought they did a real good job of protecting Sanchez, Sanchez really only got hit when the Texans brought huge blitzes and Sanchez did a great job escaping and making big throws. The run blocking left something to be desired, but they did spring big runs at the end of the game and I'll take that. Even though I was ticked with D'brick's penalites I thought he did a really good job on Mario Williams, D'brick definitely won than battle. Thoughts?
They did a good job with the run especially in the 2nd half and they gave Sanchez a good amount of time to throw. A couple miscues and stupid penalties but overall it was a good job. Great game all around really.
The pass protection was pretty good, Sanchez made it look even better though with his Peyton-esque moving in the pocket. (he was good outside of it too)
Ferguson dominated Williams out there. For all the credit Revis gets for beasting Andre Johnson, DBrick should get some love for shutting down one of the best defensive players in football.
Faneca had a nice game.........pulling on TJ's 2 big runs. Tony Richardson was a beast on those runs too!
Pass Protection: A- Run Game: D (1st Half) B (2nd Half) Screens: B- The Texans front 7 DOMINATED us in the 1st half. at 1 point TJ was 12 for 14....
How many penalties did Brick have? I remember his unnecessary roughness call on the first play and then one more towards the end of the game but I cannot remember what it was.
