These players are mostly 2nd rounders & later prospects, that I feel can be impact players & potential starters.

I'm focusing on pass rushers...Jets' need to be able to get more pressure on the oppositions QB & more overall speed on defense. Thats why I like the this guy...Antwan Barnes...He seems like a must have...

LB Antwan Barnes ~ Florida International -- An outstanding athlete with blazing speed off the edge, Barnes began the 2005 season at outside linebacker before being moved to defensive end after week two. Had a monster 2005 season for the Golden Panthers, collecting 11 sacks and 15.5 TFL's....Will team with talented FIU linebacker Keyonvis Bouie to lead a potentially very stout Panthers defense this upcoming season. At "only" 6' 1" and 230 pounds, Barnes will have to make it at the next level as a linebacker. The 21 year old Barnes was recruited out of high school by the likes of LSU, Michigan State and Miami (Florida).

there are a lot of players in that list that are in mine, too. ANtwan Barnes, Desmond Bishop, Josh Beekman, Alama-Francis, Justin Hickman and Tarrel Brown - especially Tarell and Ikaika.

I like that you aren't calling first rounders "sleepers" so I'll contribute a few of my own later round potential sleepers: AJ Davis and Josh Wilson at corner. Kevin Payne and John Wendling (and word is we like Leonard Peters) at S, Matt Muncy and my personal favorite deep sleeper, Blair Philips at ILB, Jacob Ford and I'm really coming around on Woodley at OLB, Jay Alford and Ryan McBean at end, Soliai, Echols and LaRon Harris at nose. I haven't really considered any offensive skill players because I don't think we need any, but I do like Dan Santucci and Mike jones inside, James Marten and Jim Otto at RT.
I'd quibble with a few others, but that's neither here nor there.

Tim Shaw LB/DE PSU - this guy can go anywhere from early 2nd to late 3rd IMO, we've already had a private workout with him

He is the strongest of strong safeties. He may be better suited to play OLB though.

My ultra mega sleeper is Brendan Hill out of VT. He played OLB along side Vince Hall and Xavier Adibi. The thing about Hill is he was clearly a Safety. In fact we never played nickel or dime because he would go out and cover the receivers. He is able to do this because he used to play receiver freshman year. He is always around the ball and can get into the backfield.

Isn't Ben Patrick a projected mid-rounder? As opposed to Colston who some felt might be undrafted?

    Don't see the correlation.

  9. Deon Anderson FB out of Uconn, big time bruising fb, was a great leader on and off the field, and is a demon on special teams

Doug Free from Northern Illinois is the guy I like. There really aren't many full sized right tackles. I like everything I hear about the kid.

because I am not comparing where they are drafted im comparing their position as a WR/TE receiving threat from a small school

I just read the profile on A.J. Davis - N.C. State..... I wish I could see some game action on him. Do you know any sites ? I originally left him off my list, but I have now added him.
Upon reading profile....This guy seems to be best cover corner in the draft

I agree with Quincy Black and Antwan Barnes... Good sleepers.

But not everybody who is a potential second round pick is a sleeper...

Tony Taylor and Tank Tyler are NOT sleepers... I wouldn't go for either.

AJ Davis the BEST corner in the draft? Not even close...
