Per PFF: Bless ended as the highest rated defender in overall rating and in coverage. After being targeted 6 times, he gave up only 3 passes for 9 total yards and made 3 stops!
good point. we are using crowder alot like landry was used in miami. wouldn't suprise me if he had 100 catches in 2020. in the 7 games sam has played. crowder has 59 targets (8.42 per game) and 45 catches (6.42/game) over a 16 game season that is 102.85 catches on 134.72 targets. That 76% catch rate is pretty impressive too and from what i've seen he only has 1 drop on the year. crowder was such a great signing here
0-4 against our division. If only we could play the NFC East every week. It is good to see some role players playing well tho. Crowder, Austin, Jenkins, Foley, Shepard, and Griffin playing well as of late. Most importantly Darnold been looking better, albeit against weak competition.
There's a good amount of hope going into this coming off-season. Crowder has proven to be a very effective weapon on offense. We have a nice TE duo brewing with Herndon and Griffin. Jamal Adams is a fuckin stud. Blessaun Austin is showing some serious promise, although it was only one game. The defense is stout against the run and we are getting to the passer without a truly dominant edge rusher. Darnold is looking very good these past 2 games. Hopefully he continues to improve. If we can just shore up the offensive line and get another corner and edge rusher, we can turn the corner. Gase is still the x-factor
I'd be interested to know if he was scored against all cb's in the league. I noticed 2 dynamite plays that I would score high but I have no idea if PFT would score them. 1. On a short crossing pattern he switched perfectly 2. On a cover play he got turned around but came back to break up the pass with lighting speed and no hesitation. U noticed those 2 plays?
