Guys, I would appreciate some help here. I am obviously a huge Jets Fan and am coming over to New York for the Eagles game in October. I arrive on the 11th Oct and leave on Monday 15th. I am also a big Yanks fan and have set my travel plans some time ago. My question to you is this? Do I have any chance of catching the Yanks in the play-offs? Dates are still a bit sketchy for the play-offs but my take is that it looks like my best chance is that the Yanks beat Boston in the wild card series and then go to the ACLS. Question 2. I have been to 'Stans' and 'Yankee Tavern' near the stadium, is there a really big Yanks bar to watch the action in case I can't get a ticket? Thanks
Can't help with #2, but for #1 Im sure you could get tickets if you pay a very high price. Also, the Yanks can't play the Red Sox in the first round, as the rule is the wild card can't play a team from their own division (so if Boston was #1 they would play #2)
I have watched baseball for ages and never knew that-(wild card can't play a team from own div). How do guys think this will pan out? Yanks are about to bat in at Fenway as I type. Go Yanks!
