I think we've finally reached the point in the Pats dynasty process where we can begin prognosticating on how it will all end. The primary question for me is which of the lynchpins of the Patriots will go first? Will it be Bill Belichik who has coached the Pats to 5 Super Bowl appearances in 12 seasons as coach? Or will it be Tom Brady who will finally hit the ripe old age of 35 next season? Extra credit for making a good clear case for Brady being traded at the end or retiring as a lifetime Pat. I've also added an option for Bob Kraft will sell the team before either goes so he doesn't have to deal with the aftermath. If you pick that one you're saying the Pats owners will go first.
I suppose it's possible they both retire together when Brady is done. but I would guess Brady retires first, then Bellicheck stays and rebuilds the team. He just reached the Super Bowl. No Pat fan in their right mind would want their HOF coach gone any time soon.
I have it on good authority that after next season theyre (b+b) gonna get married move to florida and become paritial owners of the dolphins
Neither one is going anywhere anytime soon. They're still the dominant force in the division and as long as that's true, they're going to be in the mix for the SB.
Brady will play out this contract (another 3 years) I would expect (though he is due over $18m in the 2nd and 3rd years so its not an absolute certainty).
