This is without a doubt the worst Jets loss in years, so let's play the blame game. If you have to blame one party, who would it be? Fitz? The running game? Marshall? The defense? What's your take?
I hope this is sarcasm. Continue to make shitty topics though, because I am sure you will get the ban-hammer soon.
What's so shitty about it? I'm asking an honest question. If you had to blame one party, who would it be? There's no trolling involved here, I'm just trying to generate conversation.
You dont blame just one person for a game like this. Multiple factors contributed: Coaching: Team came out sluggish. Bad Challenge Players: Fitz played bad OL couldnt run block Marshall gave it to the Eagles twice Powell played poorly. Coples stupid ass penalty.
This is not one of the worst Jets losses in years. C'mon dude, go to back 2013, 2012, heck last season. We shot ourselves in the foot the entire game, and we still had a chance to win this one. Chalk it up to inexperience.
Worst loss in years? I dunno. It's our first loss this year. It's not a division or conference game. We were within a score with a few minutes to play, so it wasn't a blow-out. Lots of reasons why I could say this isn't the worst loss in years. It wasn't a fun game to watch, but if you think this is the worst loss in years, you haven't been watching the Jets very long.
This is far from the worst Jets loss. Without that goofy Marshall lateral pass, the Jets probably win the game. I think losing 45-3 to the Patriots in 2010 easily trumps this loss, or more recently 38-3 to the Bills. The Jets were in this game, they had chances to win. Fitz is an average QB, you take away Ivory and Decker and you got problems. It's that simple.
Before Marshalls lateral stunt the Eagles had 17 and once they got the back they scored to go to 24 and then the defense never allowed them to score again. We showed on the next drive we were going to score a touchdown so it's incredibly hard to not blame Marshall when it could have been 7-17 Which later effected our chances when it came down to the drive after the Kerley touchdown. At the time, with no fumble it would be 14-17 and then Marshall bitches out on a sure catch because he thought he was going to get hit...by who idfk maybe a ghost but that attempt at a catch caused another INT. We would have been in field goal range with a first down, down 14-17, ready to possibly take the lead. But believe me I don't completely put this on Marshall. If Fitzpatrick forces another deep ball into double and triple coverage again, I'm going to break his arm. Plus our tackling was fucking pathetic. Plus can we please talk about Bowles horrific Kerley challenge? He was so clearly out of bounds. Who the fuck gave him the greenlight to do that.
Why does every loss deserve a blame? When it's a win most people say it was a team win. But since it's a loss it has to come down to one or two players?
where was this talk when Bowles defense generated 10 TOs in 2 games? The defense played great in the 2nd half.
This Board is crazy. Marshall and his meds have it more together This CS gave us 2 victories with more positive turnovers than a whole season. One defeat and everything is for sh*t?
