So the game came out today. I know alot of you guys were going to pick it up. I need some individual reviews before i waste 65$ again on madden for the 360 and be dissapointed. So tell me a little about It. Pros,Cons,Features,*GAMEPLAY* (the gameplay for the 2 last 360 versions were horrible) Basically i just want to be sure i'm not making a mistake and shoulda got the ps2 version. Any feedback will be great.
why dont u read like the 3 other madden threads going on. id give it a 8.5. its not the perfect madden weve all been waiting for but its one of the best in a while.
trust me man ive read all the other threads it really dident give me any insight/ reasons to buy or not to buy. Basically all i'm looking for are REAL people giving me opinions and not just reading it off of the madden website
dude i dunno what to tell you. if you want a good football game then buy it. if you want perfection hold out till next yr. its lightyears better than the last two, but still feels less fluid then last gen releases. only issue is fumbles occur a little much. graphics are amazing, gameplay is similar to NCAA 08 but smoother. a little too many controls and features for my taste. but the new animations are almost jaw dropping. if u run thomas jones correctly hes good for positive yards almost all the time being that he never goes down on initial contact. gang tackling is as close to the real thing as u can get. like i said its not the dream madden everyone is always hoping for. but if your looking for a good football game then get it. only other issues I can think of at this point are the ratings, but when have those ever been logical. on a sidenote, my friend who always played 2k football before the NFL exclusivity, and always hated madden. played it for hours yesterday and said "this is the first madden game id ever spend money on" then again hes just one person. but im pretty sure hes a REAL person and not an android.
np, i can understand you being skeptic and not wanting to waste your money. i held out last yr. so this year I gave the benefit of the doubt and am happy. like i said not perfect. but if they can continue to improve upon this instead of regressing liek they did from 06 and 07. then madden will finally deserve the acclaim its been unjustly getting. but its been no secret to any real video game or football fan the last two have been lackluster. that changes with this one.
LOVE IT!!! I was really disappointed by last years version and I was very skeptical about buying it but it just looks AMAZING. A million times better than last years version. One thing that kind of ticks me off is that for some reason they don't have a clear visor. Also, I really like the Sprint Highlights after the first half and at the end of the game.
Agreed. Hopefully EA can continue their massive improvement to this year and create a phenomenal game next year
